The two stores are not really similar at all.

NT is a "mail order" Company that has some "brick and mortar" stores.

A search returned 262 different portable electric heaters.

HF is primarily physical stores (1400 of them) and their online presence doesn't seem to be really "all that".

They sell three levels - Good, better and much better - of tools.

Don't forget to pick up an electronic fly-swatter

Sounds generous.
It's often just denial or at least unrealistic expectations, of their product quality.

I gave my wife one of the "Warrior" cordless drills.

I don't think I'd drill holes in concrete with it, but it does drill and with a nice Lion battery, might be one of the best $20 cordless drills made. :dunno:

Don’t have much to compare but northern tool jack stands is just disappointing comparing to HF, their plasma table is ok at best just not it. The welding table comparing to HF is the same but the accessories that comes with it is better with the HF.

So tool wise I think HF is better, norther does offer things that HF don’t have .

I forgot to mention that Northern does have some pretty nice work clothes in their Gravel Gear line. A few of the people I worked with on the lake freighters had some of it so I bought a very nice Hi-Vis work coat that is a nice coat. Their socks aren't bad either. But........again.........their shipping *****.

Northern is generally higher sometimes the tools appear to be better sometimes not. If l want name brand stuff you generally can buy on line cheaper anyway. Harbor Freight is closer for me so that's where l usually go.

Slight derail, the new welding table at HF looks pretty good for the money. I'm waiting for it to get back in stock so I can grab one.

Yes I got that one last month pretty impressive with it, not a heavy duty table but the good enough for light / medium work thickness is .20” a tat bit shy of 1/4”

If you just wanted the table, the vevor brand on Amazon is cheaper with the exact same spec but the clamps are different.

No Northern stores in my area and never been to one either. Just aware of them through their website. Don't think I've ever purchased from them.

I do have a Harbor Freight in my town. Definitely spent plenty with them.

Funny I am after the clamps more than the table. I need to see if the Vevor has better ones.
