hard handle ratchet

just picked up a used 3/8 flex head hard handle ratchet from the snap-on truck today. ive been trying to track one of theese down for a bit cause i really like them. and i traded it for a 5/8 spark plug socket and $10. its in good shape just the sides of the head are a little worn and the handle has a few scratches...only thing that im not a huge fan of is the coarse tooth, i wish i could transfer fine tooth into it. i know i saw a thread on here about hardhandles, does snap-on still make them...i know the thread was from last year thats why i was asking.

also, if i wanted to take it apart and rebuild it or just grease it up can you guys throw me some tips?

model number is f835

picture makes the ratchet look brand new, it got some scratches and sides are worn down a little.

i decided to crack it open and i nowticed it had no grease in it at all. some other guy in my shop told me not to oil it and that coarse tooth is supposed to be really loud. well i threw a little grease in there and i can barely hear it click now

haha i just bought it a couple of hours ago. snap-on guy got it as a trade in, the guy needed some sockets i think, cant remember what he said

I had one like it that walked off. One of my favorite ratchets

i dont blame you for it being your favorite, ive been lurkin around for one for a while and this is my first. i would have rather had a long handle and possibly something fine tooth. i would like to get the dual 80 flex long handle and just adapt a hard handle onto it...

so how much would one of these ratchets go for in the shape its in?

In nice shape I see them bring 50-70 dollars. Not knowing the shape yours is in I couldn't say. Maybe post some up close photos of it.
