the ones listed the day before wer a used set and they sold fo $250 to a guy in indiana. you guys should learn to use the completed listing setting on Ebay to see what sold and for how much. check out item 120570023045 on ebay and you can see how the 9pc sets were packaged with car in huge box. as for the two pictures the one is of the set i purchased off a lady who had them listed for buy it now $80. she shipped them wrapped like **** so on the 1000mile postal trip they got rattled about quite a bit. the one picture was posted just to show they were all snap on. if it would of been left out there would have been a million questions, are the all snap-on how come some dont say it are you sure bla bla bla. the only scammer involved with this set is in the senior member of a certain tool forum site who purchased them. In America you have choices. If you dont like the price you dont have to buy. that doesent make the seller a scammer or thief. If a guy buys legal 100 dollar bills for 50 dollars and puts them for resale at 90 dollars you would buy everyone he had without question. If he buys a set of screwdrivers for 80 and trys to sell them for 300 hes a scammer nuts a thief yet someone gladly bought them for 280 after begging seller to accept the offer.

To get todays version of snap-on's 9pc set (8drivers & ratcheting) would cost you $200.00 plus and the dont compare to the old style at all. I would bet 9 out of 10 people prefer the old style over the new. kinda like the Camaro the new ones are nice but you would take a 69 over a 2010.

Kinda takes his bone away. Nothing personal i just dont talk bulls@#t about others in little forums an make untrue statements. If people have questions or concerns ask the seller dont talk s#@t between each other especially if your ignorant on the subject. Enjoy the Holiday weekend and Thank A Vet.

I like how guys with a shrink wrapper re package things and then claim they're new.The dummy put half the drivers in upside down so the snap on isn't showing on the handles and every new set of snap on screwdrivers I've ever seen had cardboard under the shrinkwrap with the description of the set and model number. Some sucker will buy them and think he's the first guy to lay hands on them.

I just read five of your posts and have no idea what you said. And this comes up :dunno: Perhaps you should try to be more clear? And punctuation and spacing and paragraphs wouldn't hurt either.

From your messages I get: you sold the drivers and someone on here (a senior member) begged you for them and is now afraid of you?

I will go slower for you. A senior member on this forum begged me with emails to accept his offer of $280 on a set of screwdrivers. he had to have them. he would do what ever it took to get them. even said he would send me sets of crimpers that i could sell on ebay. told me some of them sell for $1800.00 used. then after i made $300 on the crimpers i could send him the screwdrivers. I said no thanks i have enough of my own stuff to sell. Am i going to fast for you ? ? ? Several days later he emailed me again offering $280.00 and would i please accept his offer. I accepted, he paid and i shipped USPS signature required. Post office lady delivered package to his mail lock box and put the key to the lock box in buyers locked mail box. Mail lady thought it was a delivery confirmation not a signature required (an honest mistake) and left the package. This was on a saturday. on monday buyer files a claim with paypal sayin he never recieved parcel and wants a refund. paypal took the money out of my account and put it on hold. Paypal then told me if the dont get delivery confirmation they would have to refund the money. I would be out my screwdrivers and my money. After countless hours on the phone with th USPS in a city half a country away I got the truth of the matter. Told buyer he had best cancell his refund claim or face mail fraud charges. While trying to aquire info on the buyer, i tried google search. twitters and screwdriver forum posts came up with this persons email name. Im sure being so excited about getting this blue set he couldnt wait to post a picture of it with his other 10 drawers of screwdrivers. Now he cant because that would be all the evidenc the postal authorities would need for mail fraud charges. In short Buyer bought screwdrivers, recieved them by accident, then saw that the mail lady delivered them without the signature required so he figured i just say i never recieved them get his money back and enjoy his free screwdrivers. He was Wrong ! ! ! Eyeryoun have a safe Holiday weekend. DON'T FORGET TO THANK A VET without them forums like this wouldn't be allowed.

Wow . . . If this is all factual and true I can understand your frustrations and anger! In the future your initial response of any matter should include all the relevant facts, and information so as the open public can understand what it is you're trying to communicate.

Best of luck in the settlement . . .

He cancelled his paypal claim and i have recieved my money. Still claims he recieved nothing yet the the only person with a key to his post box would be him or his wife or family. Post office has tried to get him to sign off no questions asked but he ignores them. The postal lady also offered to pay me for the item seeing as she made a mistake if my money was not refunded (quite nice on her part in this day and age). I am only on here because i know he is reading this and know what a bum he is. It has to be killing him not to be able to post a picture of his prized set and to tell everybody on the journal. If i was truely innocent and never recieved the item i deffinetly wouldn't eat the $300.00 loss. He tried to scam and got caught.

I had a great weekend on the river, just got back today. Logged on to check out what’s new on the forum since I have been gone. Only to find this guy posting up some paranoid crazy ****.

I’m just posting the facts…not acquisitions or what I think happened, like this guy has been posting.

First off, I’m the one he is referring too. But here is the truth to the matter- Not sure even why I’m going to go into all of this except I do not like any insinuations of being dishonest. I hate liars and thieves. I don’t know how many times in threads I have stated that.

He accepted my offer of $280….and shipped them out. Roughly 2-3 days after shipping (I’m tracking it multiple times a day) I missed the Saturday delivery…(family get together in LA). I track it even at the restaurant and see (that a notice was left at my door. I figure owell I will pick it up at the post office Monday. We get home that night. I go to grab the notice off my door (where the USPS carrier always has left them before)…..NO NOTICE. I then grab my keys to my box, only to find regular mail…NO NOTICE, NO BOX.

I drove to my local USPS Monday morning at 9am, wait in line and talk to a representative. They pulled up the tracking and it says notice left. (I didn’t get a notice) all I had was the tracking info I printed out. The USPS guy told me they probably threw it back on the mail truck and it would be delivered today. (I took the rest of Monday off work to be home for the delivery). I was in my back yard and saw the mail truck mid day. I went to the box, (carrier already left). Open my box to find again only regular mail…(NO NOTICE, NO BOX). So I drove immediately to the post office to see what was going on. I talked to another carrier who looked in the back (found no box). She suggested I talk to a route supervisor. She took my tracking sheet and stamped it). She told me the supervisor would be back Tuesday morning…(another trip back)! I go back in the morning talk to the route supervisor who had no idea where the box was, looks in the back a third time now, (big surprise no box). She said it could have been already sent back to the shipper (even that it was short of the 10 or 15 day time period). She said she has seen that before.

I emailed this guy (almostrippedoff). And told him the progress and that I have not received it yet. I’m getting worried and frustrated now to say the least. At this point to me it looks like I’m not going to get the box, and I don’t even have a clue how to resolve this mess. I call paypal to see what can be done. I talk to the paypal guy and he tracks it and said I’m covered under the buyer protection. I ask him specifically if I get my money back where is it coming from (the seller)…he said “yes, the funds would be reversed”. I even told the paypal guy….”I believe the seller shipped the items….and I don’t like the idea of the funds being withdrawn from him”. I told the paypal guy I would contact the seller and see what he suggests as the next course of action. The paypal guy said that was more than fair of me. (almostreippedoff, call them if you don’t believe me).

So I email the seller and ask what he thinks is the "best" next step. His response was….to “relax, he is not a scammer, & how did I know it said “left notice” (from the tracking info online)?!?!?! How else?
1848.gif

So now with little to no help from anyone….I’m out dang near $300 and nothing to show for it. So I decide to start a paypal dispute….Not a claim. The paypal guy said it was my best bet to get a resolution (seller to buyer). So I file a dispute…..that I never received the package.

That night I go out to dinner with my wife and my brother in law who is in town for the night. Half way through dinner my cell phone starts ringing off the hook. This guy must have called me 15 times if not more…over and over and over….I couldn’t answer the call in the middle of dinner. I looked at the number and saw it was from IL. I figured after the first call he would leave message and I would call back. NOPE…..over & OVER & OVER…..then I get text messages…and emails! The email said he talked to two people at my local USPS and they are saying the box was delivered…the USPS carrier made a mistake and thought it was delivery confirmation (not signature). That the parcel was left in a parcel box & a key was left in my mailbox. Now the key is gone and the box with the screwdrivers is also gone…..that (ME OR SOMEONE IN MY HOUSE MUST HAVE GRABBED IT). The rest of the email I won’t even go into but more accusations & some kind of **** about a post office investigation? (Lame/whatever). So after seeing the email and how he is already accusing me and then calling my cell every couple minutes, I responded back in an email that “I’m impressed he got all that information….I couldn’t get it and I went there and spoke three times in person with them”. I told him “I would go to the post office in the morning to confirm and meanwhile I would drop the dispute immediately” (which I did).

After getting home from dinner about 9:30pm (I’m really getting un-nerved at this point). As we are pulling in to the driveway I noticed my neighbor outside. (It’s actually a care facility ran out of a house). I decided since they were out talking (care takers) that I would at least ask if they got a key or box. I have had it happen with a FedEx delivery over the holidays. I asked one care taker and they said that she hadn’t but she would ask the others as the new shift changed. Next day one of the care facility employees came over as I was jumping in my truck going to work. They said there was a key left in THEIR BOX (NOT MINE)….and they took the package out thinking it was for one of the clients……(it’s a big bank of mailboxes)….not sure if this guy (allmostrippedoff) thinks it’s just one mailbox but its not. So armed with that info…..I contact the guy who owns the care facility and talk to him directly (on my lunch hour) and tell him this whole story, he said he would find out what’s going on and if they have the box he would personally get it to me.

Ok so that was on May26th. That next day (Wednesday May27th)….. The owner calls me and tells me the care facility next door to me was in the process of being temporarily moved to another house a street over (they are renovating the house). He said if they have the box it probably is in the moving truck now or will be unpacked the next day. I leave for my holiday trip to the river…and asked the Care facility owner to please keep the box in his possession and call me when he finds it. I got a call Saturday that he has it. I think great! I’m almost debating cutting my holiday trip short just to get back so I can have some peace with this purchase. But we stay, and drove back on schedule.

Fast forward to today. I got the box this afternoon. Got home opened it and thought, this is finally over! (Nope I was wrong.....I find you and your posts here). :bounce:

But you know what dude…..stealing is something I despise. Also I almost find it comical you searched the whole internet. And look, low and behold……wow you found I frequent a forum!!!! WOW I applauded you and your skills. Go do something constructive with that built up anger. Try something else than stalking. :headscrat

Sorry this post is so long, I just want to get the truth and facts out there not like the **** this guy is spouting.

Another thing Allmostrippedoff, if you still think I was trying to rip you off….why don’t you do a quick search on here or the net for that matter….about all the problems people have with the USPS and deliveries.

Now here is the kicker to the story….after all that effort….and **** to deal with with this "stellar ebay power seller". The tray is broken is 3-4 places. And the chrome on the screwdriver shafts are rusting! So maybe you really are the scammer? I didn’t remember reading that in your auction? But I bet this guy will have some kind of fancy conspiracy theory as to somehow I got the chrome to rapidly start rusting and did this in an attempt to…… (Ah hell who knows).

FYI: Allmostrippedoff- respond however you want. I won’t even see it, but Ill toss a link to this thread into your ebay feedback if you want, so you can show all your perspective buyers some more of that A+++ class! BTW your going on my ignore list (so I wont even be bothered by your response). You may think you got under my skin in the above posts, but dude I know I didn't try to rip anyone off. You can call me names and say I tried to scam you. And I will just "shine you on" dude. Talk your ****, say what you want. But I know that truth.

Truly, I think this is the only tool I have ever regretted buying. :wtf:
<o>
Rant over. I feel better

It sounds like a big misunderstanding surrounding a typical USPS screwup. Maybe you two should kiss and make up.

If the screwdrivers were now mysteriously found, why havent you gone to the Costa Mesa Post Office and cleared this issue up with Scott and your mail lady Mary so it can show up as DELIVERED when tracked. So, not only did your mail lady make a mistake by leaving the package without signature, she also then left the key to get the package out of the parcel box in someone elses mail box and not yours. a double mistake all working against you. After being ccaught your only defense is the tray was broken and the screwdrivers were rusty. i will gladly take them back. As for all the phone calls and email. Its funny how you had no problem contacting me 20 plus time when you had to have this set, and then minutes after you file with paypay (before even letting the post office look into it for a day) and then you wont answer a single email, phone call, or text when trying to resolve the mystery. Its funny how you dropped your claim immediatly after my emails and phone calls days before you found out your quote neighbor had them. Post up the pictures of these rusty screwdrivers if their so awfull. My Ebay feedback speeks for its self. No Stalking Here just doing what I had to do to cover my *** and not be taken. If you would have returned my messages and not ignored the post office i wouldnt of had to search you out on Google. Just Covering My *** (MKDIVE) Just Covering My ***.

I have no idea why someone would file with Paypal to get money back from the seller when tracking shows the parcel either in transit or delivered. The seller did nothing wrong, I bought a tool last week that was delivered by UPS while I was out of town. If it was taken off my porch I would have been **** out of luck and wouldn't have went after the seller....WTF?

p.s. To all the people whinning about the price STFU. If you don't think it's worth the asking price too bad don't buy them. I have a 10 piece orange hard handle S-O set and wouldn't sell them for $500. Offer was made offer was accepted, sounds like it's worth what it's worth.

Americans also have the right to free speech so if guys want to get together on an internet forum and discuss the prices and condition of something selling on ebay there's no reason for them not to.If you don't like what they have to say about your listing tough ****.They have freedom too.

Caper,

You have to realize some of the members on this site only use what is convenient, or in their best interest at the time!

Should there be any flack, or negative comments all you get is STFU, but hey it goes both ways . . .

Freedom to express oneself, freedom of thought, etc . . . So, don't waste anymore time or thought to those with small minds etc, and just tell them to

SHUT THE **** UP . . . :lol_hitti

Why would anyone care what someone is asking for a tool? If you think it's too much walk away, no biggie. To me someone who is whinning about what someone else asks for a tool is just being a little *****. If it's too much or you can't afford it why would you waste any time on it? :headscrat

Doesn't matter to me either way . . . This is a discussion forum and as such someone brought this up to be discussed!

In doing so people are going to offer their views, thoughts, and IMO on the topic at hand. Why is that hard to understand ?? :headscrat

The very fact that this whole thread turned into a **** fest who would have known?

At the end of the day buyer / seller got what they wanted. Some wanted to clear the air, some wanted to affirm the facts . . .

I have no personal stake in this, and really could care less . . . What I do find offensive is when others such as yourself come in to rally and then state STFU because someone has given a reply / point of view! :wtf:

The door swings both ways, and often times I see some members on here forgetting this simple fact . . .

The End . . .

Look at these beautys! Started a revolution! Don't know how they rusted and the tray got all broke in a week. They survived being in the rapper since 2000.

I have to admit that is really a nice set, regardless of the price . . . It was worth it to someone and that's all it matters in the end . . .
