My dealer had everything in the original shipping box, 3 pairs of ratchets and 3 color matching boxes. Price was $187 for the 2 ratchets and then the free box.

As mentioned above by another poster, it is hard to imagine a dealer not being aware of the free box promo.

The way the ratchets are shipped, leaves no doubt as to why some "new" ratchets have little nicks and dings on them. All 6 ratchets were lumped together in a plastic bag.

The ratchets have a new model number stamped on them so I would guess in the future these will be a regularly offered item.

It's easy to imagine. If a dealer missed the sales meeting back in July when this promo was offered, then he would not know about it.

The ratchets have a new model number stamped on them so I would guess in the future these will be a regularly offered item.

There is a good chance that these will be offered in the future but as of right now, there are no guarantees.

Sounds like your dealer is keeping them for Xmas gifts or poping them on Ebay!!!

They DO in fact come with the boxes.

My dealer just got off the phone with another dealer. He is transferring a set in each color to him, for me. So I will have more tomorrow. For the members who already sent me money through pay-pal, I will have pics of the items and tracking numbers sent your way tonight.

To the other people wanting to get these sets, remember the up-front cost is coming out of my own pocket.

Take a breather. He has other clients to cater to other than you. Give him a call tomorrow and go from there. If you don't hear from him within 48 hours then go through the steps to find out who his regional is and talk to him. I must warn that doing that though may result in negative service to you in the future.

If that's the case you have nothing to lose by going over his head. Looks like you're getting crappy service anyways. Worse that could happen is that he'd realize he's being a slacker and call you back.

He may not of participated in the promo. You have to remember that Snap-on has different promotions in different parts of the country. Did you pay list price for the ratchets or did he have some kind of promo price.
