All pm's should have been replied to.

To those that bought the ratchets and box, you should have a pm including the pics, and tracking number.

Also, I wanted to throw in a little disclaimer. I am in NO way trying to remove business from Snap on as a company, trying to benefit a single dealer (the kits I got have come from a total of 3 dealers), nor am I trying to be a "seller" on this site. I'm just trying to help the few people in need that can't get these because their local dealer doesn't have any, or didn't order any at all. Also, I am making absolutely ZERO on selling these "kits". As I said, i'm not here to profit on these, just trying to help some fellow tool addicts out.

So, with that said, I will keep updating this post until the the last one I own sells and give everyone here the benefit of having something they may not otherwise have a chance to get.

Chad and Shaun, please advise me if i'm stepping on either of your guys' toes or am "breaking" any rules by doing this. Like I said, just wanna help those people out.

Awesome - very cool of you to spend your time helping others out for zero gain.

My dealer has a ton of the ratchets hanging on his bungee board on his truck(s). I saw no boxes though.

Personally I think the 1/4" ones have too big of handles. The face of the handle is about 3x the "diameter" of the metal. The old contour grips were a lot nicer on ratchets, IMO. The hard handle style that is from the previous generation isn't as nice as the one from two generations ago, though it may hold up a little better due to being more of a harder plastic.

I'd like to get my paws on a few mini boxes though...

He may not of participated in the promo. You have to remember that Snap-on has different promotions in different parts of the country. Did you pay list price for the ratchets or did he have some kind of promo price.

guys on here from michigan, illinois and south dakota all claim to have got a free box with theirs. i am in the middle in minnesota so i don't see why i would have not gotten a box.

i paid $99.95 for the 3/8 and 86.95 for the 1/4 yesterday

I just got off the phone with my SO guy. He says he MAY be able to get the micro boxes by themselves. I'll keep everyone informed who wanted just a box.

Dave,

From what I was told the dealers shouldn't be splitting up the sets. If they ordered the ratchets, they got the mini boxes.

Keep in mind. This promo was ordered by dealers about 4 months ago. It was presented to dealers in a meeting on a power point slide. In a lot cases, we dont get hard copies of meeting presentations. If we do, its hard to keep up with a meeting packet from 4 months ago especially when we had the national franchisee conference in the time since this promo was ordered. When they were shipped to dealers, they just came in our regular stock orders with no paperwork to remind dealers that this was the way the promo was structured. It is a real struggle to keep up with some of the programs especially when product is not packaged together. Also, in my case, I did not get all of the product in one shipment. I got part of the ratchets at one time. Then some of the micro boxes. Then the rest of the ratchets and boxes.

Too make a long story short, give your dealer the benefit of the doubt when you ask him about this.

Would you be willing to box one up and send it USPS, to Ontario? I do not own any SO stuff but this looks like a good start.

My guy is really good and signs up for all the promos and he didn't have any of the micro boxes. I just asked him about it and he said he has them just is doing the promo a little differently. To be fair to him the ratchets are being sold cheaper than I see them here so I'm guessing he's selling the boxes or something by themselves. I kinda like how he did this as I don't care for those mini boxes much.

I have the ratchets and boxes shrink wrapped together (I have my own shrink wrap machine) at the moment. If have have any that havent sold after a couple of weeks, I will break the sets up, put the ratchets in a discount box and either sell the mini boxes on their own or give them away with big ticket purchases.

What colors are the most desireable?

It seems there are Red, Orange, and Green boxes to match the ratchets?

I'd prefer a Red box but probably Orange ratchets, since they don't have black...:headscrat Anybody have a picture of an Orange box?

My SO guy has been out for a few weeks, and is holding these sets until closer to the holidays, but he's going to put a set aside for me.

Just wanted to thank 07Forester for his time and effort in obtaining a green set for me! They arrived well-packed in great condition, and the shipping was fast.

Thanks, Greg!

Thanks again for the offer to take the time to ship to Ontario. I knew the shipping would be a bit up there but it was higher then I expected, in addition to those I would also be hit again up here for $5 + 13% taxes.

Did not mean to waste your time looking up shipping fees.

Thanks again.
