So I did the search and seen numerous topics on replacing the comfort grips with a hard handle. Mostly everything I seen tho is using a hard handle from an older style screwdriver when they existed. What are my options as far as buying a new handle from my so dealer to use
I'm trying to convert a 3/8 comfort grip flex snap on ratchet fhl80 to a green hard handle

Awesome thanks! Now are those replacement screwdriver handles or the actual handles for the limited edition/Father's Day time hard handle ratchets

The THD and FHD handles are ratchet handles, the SDD handles are screwdriver handles, as Snap-on (as far as I know) has never made new-style 1/2" hard-handle ratchet handles. Nch209's picture above details the difference between the handles - slightly different "Snap-on" script and "USA" underscript on the 1/2"-ers.

Yea, I used the fhd80 handles for the 1/4, yes, fhd for 1/4, and sdd's for the 3/8 and 1/2. I think sdd8r for 1/2 and sdd6r for the 3/8.????? I'd have to look at receipts, but basically the biggest and then next in line in replacement green handles. (My 3/8 is much bigger than what snappy uses for 3/8s, I know that.

I know this post is like a riddle, but as goes snappy lingo!

Note the FHD80-12 will not fit all 3/8ths F80 ratchets. The FHF80 has a longer shank and handle as shown below:

I think that you will require a SDD6R1RG for the larger handle style and drill out the core, or another option is to cut down the ratchet shank to fit the length of the hard handle.

The FF80 is listed on the SO website as 8 7/16" long and the FHF80 is 9 5/8" long

^ didn't mill it, just drilled the handle small, boiled it, and drove it on. Not issues so far? As for length, around 10 inches or so iirc
