Hardener Densifier on a garage floor

Is there anything to be gained by just using a lithium based hardener densifier on a garage floor? I have 1320 sq ft cured floor, power troweled finish. General use of the area is storage of outdoor equipment, snowmobiles (think carbide wear rods) tractor parking. I do not want to put on a surface sealer as in my other garage I used a solvent based which gets sticky any time a drop of gas or solvent hits it. I like the idea of making the surface harder, and the claim that it help to make more "resistant to" liquids is about all I care about. I don't plan to polish, burnish, etc. Roll it on, and be done. hoping that it does some good to seal it up a bit by nature of the pores being filled. Is this legit or should I be thinking about some other type of product or sealer? I realize there are penetrating sealers that don't harden, but I think making the surface more durable would be a benefit if I went this route.

If I do this, do I need to follow up with any other products? Not looking to spend a ton of money, just want to do something with this floor before I move too much into the space, so I want to get it done asap. Concrete was poured 11 months ago, its clean, but would do final cleaning prior to any treatment. Any advice is welcomed.

A lithium based densifier is a good choice based on your goals and budget. You may want to consider a densifier with a siliconate sealer added. It provides additional protection against water intrusion and stain resistance. This link can provide more information about how they work and what we recommend.

If it's within your budget, there is a 2 step process with a densifier that also includes a special oil repelling sealer from GhostShield. This process requires the use of a straight densifier - no sealer added. You can read about here.

We find that densifier only won't do. Icy to prevent continued dusting or to aid in cleaning. Best to go with a densifier sealer combo like the Ghostshield which we carry, or similar products.
