hardware sale at Tractor Supply

I hope this is the proper place to announce that Tractor Supply (at least the one local to me) is having a sale that includes grade 2 hardware for $1.59/lb. It's in a flyer distributed with the local paper, so I'm guessing it's a country-wide sale. It's good through Sunday, April 26.

I, like most of you, I'm sure, like to have a supply of assorted nuts, bolts and washers to save the inevitable hardware store run in the middle of some project.

Alex on here is selling grade 5 for $1.50/pound. I find grade 2 all but worthless.

X2 on this as well. The only thing I use them for now is shear bolts on tractor implements. I use mostly grade 5 and 8.

I certainly wouldn't want to bolt suspension parts together with grade 2 stuff, you are right about that. But I use it for general house/garage maintenance uses where if it fails, nothing crashes and burns.
