Just wanted to share some of the changes I have just made to my bike.
After having my forty eight for a few years it's was time for a change. I looked at selling it & getting a new bike but then it hit me. For a lot less then a new bike I can change the feel / style of this one.
My idea is new :
Handle bars & grips, foot controls (mids), rear shocks, rear fender, wheels & tyres, exhaust & full colour change.
this is how the bike looked when I started.
Looking at ride hight & rear fender options
New bars fitted
Now I'm just waiting on parts
Rear fender test fit.
Time to get the grinder out & start cutting. No turning back now!
Vinyl has arrived, time to start wrapping for the colour change.
Gulf oil colours wrapped on all tins
Tins fitted to the bike. It's all starting to take shape now.
Picking up the new wheels & tyres. 19" front & 17" rear wrapped in continental tkc80 rubber
All back together now.
Now it's time for a ride.
Cheers.
