Right now I'm icing my knee, it didnt come out as pain free as the first one but its tolerable. I took one oxycodone at 11:00 last night and one at 7:00 this morning, normally I take three hydrocodone per day so I'm guessing it's a trade off, I'm off the hydros for now til this Doc is done with me.

Sorry to see your knee is causing discomfort hopefully the issue goes away quickly.
I hate losing power we’ve been lucky this year with weather no snow in my area all season.
Although expensive I highly recommend the Generac whole house generator we’ve had one now for almost 7 years and haven’t regretted the purchase.

Thanks Ford52PU, I'll have that generac hooked up soon, I talked to a friend of mine and he is willing to help me dig a new trench.

Kirk, I hear ya on going nuts sitting still, I'm in the shop sorting nuts and bolts and cleaning tools. I have several stools and chairs strategically placed around the shop and the radio blasting.
I had the first knee done Jan, 20th and it's still a little tender and if I'm on it for a long time it swells a bit but it's not grinding anymore and I can tell it's getting stronger.
Dont they immobilized that shoulder for six weeks? One of the guys that worked at the fab shop had both of his done (not at the same time) and it seems like it was that long!

Well, I sorted about 30 containers of hardware and put it away.

I need to move all of the extra lumber to the wood shop but the bil's car is still in there and I dont want to bury it more than it is, he said it will be moved soon, if he dont then it's going to the car port.

Most of the containers were setting on this cabinet, I want to set up the incubators here so it had to happen.
that reminded me that I didnt have a hose reel for the water hose, so I welded this bracket together.

I went outside and drilled the block wall.

Then I went inside, drilled and added a plate.

I had this plastic wire spool, I borrowed one of Pat's pot trivets, and found an old Ford spinner.

Now I can wash and disinfect the incubators and they will be ready when I am. I got tired of my hose laying in the mud.
Then I mowed the lawn and washed the zero turn.

Now I need to clean my welding bench, it became a catchall this winter.

I wish my bench was that empty.

HJ, My arm is still in a sling most of the time. They have me doing about 20-30 minutes of stretches and exercises twice a day. When I'm typing, I take my arm out of the sling and rest my wrist on the keyboard. Trying to work on the truck is fun doing it using only my left hand.

Kirk, that's a PIA working with the wrong arm, I haden't thought about it being your right arm.
In 5th grade I broke my left arm, I'm a lefty, the teacher looked me straight in the eye and told me that a broken arm would not be a valid excuse to get out of work, and to learn how to write with my right hand, I did, I got pretty good at it too. That I believe changed things for me, it's slightly uncomfortable to write with my right hand but I can do it.
I got so busy today, Pat told me to take it easy, but I got a bunch done.
I have 21 eggs waiting, half way there.

It is a plastic wire spool, an aluminum cooking pot trivet, and a spinner off my old F100

I hoping this is it, they cut out scar tissue and ground some bone. Then they worked me over with a ball bat! Lol, that's what it felt like anyway!

What is this pipe used for!

They are about ⅜" black pipe, they are 10' long and have one small bend about a ft. down the length.

I cut one off just past the bend and they are full of hard steel rods.

Once the bend was cut off the steel rods slide out easily.
They are threaded on both ends.
I was given about 50 of them, and was just curious!
Any Ideas guys.

I collected enough eggs to start a new batch today, 28 are marked as hens and 14 are marked roosters, very scientific stuff here, I have the temp set at 99.5 and the humidity is a bit high at 80% but I didnt add water so that will drop a lot by tomorrow, should be 60%. I'll need to watch them close for a couple of days then once a day until day 18.

It's been raining on and off since Friday so not a lot happening here.

I built my blackberry arbor today.

I cut up four of the thermal lances to 8' and drove them into the ground 4' apart in a straight line.

I cut four pieces of tubing for the top rail.

Cleaned them up a bit.

I welded them onto the top rail.

The top rail is 12' 4" long, the pieces were placed every four feet.

The old arbors were temporary bamboo and proved to be located wrong so the new one was turned 90 degrees and is now only one line instead of two.


I'll add some fabric and mulch later. The old design was to be a barrel topped arbor with seats under it but these vines would consume everything, so now they are in a 12' straight line that I can mow around.
