So far I haven't been able to get her to go, She has things that she feels she needs to be here for, I don't totally disagree with her! You know.
But truthfully I don't get to see anything when I go. It was so busy at the Rod Run this trip that I never got a chance to go look at the cars. There is a sign vendor that I wanted to buy some signs from, I never got to go see him. The show closed at 6:00 we would go eat and he'd to the condo and crash!

Brett came over last night and finished the wiring on the generator.
20250415_165703.jpg
He is a real sparkey so it didn't take him long to set it up.
20250415_180654.jpg
I checked the motor and filters and fluids! Once we got power to the screen we set the parameters, it will start every Tuesday at 2:00 for a test cycle. The hour meter says 36 hours on it.

Ok, so I have been reading about Alexa devices, the (Echo dot, gen 3) operates on 12 volts.

Since I usually have my little truck with me when I'm out in the yard, or garden.
20250416_130647.jpg
I decided it would be nice to have some tunes to listen to.
20250416_125751.jpg
So far it works everywhere I can get the truck! I know!!!

Nice hack! Are you using it as a Bluetooth speaker, or does your wifi reach far enough for it to do its thing?

The bil helped me today, I got the grading done around his new shop.
20250418_155457.jpg
We moved a ton of **** out of our way.
20250418_155454.jpg
He has a bank on the other end of his property that we dig fill dirt from to build everything up to sub grade then I dressed everything with the gravel we had stockpiled earlier.
Tomorrow we will finish the side walls and start on the front wall.

Wow what a day! I actually got to spend a whole day to myself working in the garden.
20250420_120556.jpg
First thing this morning Hefe was on lizzard patrol! Some day he will catch one, don't know what will happen then but!
20250420_162240.jpg
I did some cleaning first, here is a cabbage, I can't remember the name but it's supposed to be 30lbs, John gave me this, the other things are brussel sprouts, I have never tried them before so they are kind of an experiment.
20250420_162250.jpg
I finished filling the fourth box, it will be all peppers. Going to plant them tomorrow. I like peppers🌶.
20250420_162309.jpg
The tomatoes 🍅
20250420_165403.jpg
These are called, Radiator Charles, Mortgage lifters, there an old tomato invented by Willam Estler of Barboursville, West Virginia, in 1922. He registered the name in 1932, several years before "Radiator Charlie" and his "Radiator Charlie's Mortgage Lifter". But guess who got all of the fame!
20250420_162315.jpg
The radishes, carrots, several kinds of lettuce, onions, and peppers, I have a lot of peppers.
20250420_162304.jpg
I put up a shelf and some plant hangers just because!
20250420_162333.jpg
There was a small strip from the edge of the carpet to the cabin so I made another bed, I think Pat wants to put some flowers in it.
20250420_181434.jpg
It's shaping up pretty good, that's squash in the first bed there. The carpet is from when the lodge flooded, it will keep the weeds down and it's easy to blow clean with the leaf blower.
20250420_192826.jpg
The cucumbers 🥒 are from heirloom seed also, Im trying to collect seed that hasn't been genetically altered just simply for the taste, These new veggies that you get from the store grow really fast, put on veggies very fast but lack any flavor. That's the only reason I do it, flavor.

Ran out of room so I'll put the garlic here
20250420_192837.jpg
It gets harvested at the end of May when the bottom leaves start turning brown.
It gets replanted in october/November before it frosts.
Way down on the end there is a blue pumpkin, my buddy has a greenhouse and dose a lot of veggies, he gave me 50 tomato plants last year, and he dose some silly stuff like blue pumpkins, stay tuned!
20250420_162309 (1).jpg
I know someone will ask so!
Its called electroculture, this wooden stick is wrapped with a 10 ga copper wire, there isnt any exact science to the form or style other than a wooden stick wrapped with a copper wire. It has been proven to make your veggies grow bigger! Total wichcraft! Well Im going to test it out, Im going to put one in one end of the peppers🌶 and just test this theory out!
20250420_194023.jpg
So that brings us to the end of a very enjoyable day!
Now the only thing left to do is burn these NY strips and consume an adult beverage!
Happy Easter everyone.

Ingredients
• 3 bell peppers
• 2 Tbsp cooking oil, divided
• 1 lb Italian sausage
• 1 yellow onion, diced
• 3 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 tsp Italian seasoning
• 1/2 tsp garlic powder
• 1 1/4 tsp salt, divided
• 1/4 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
• 1 cup marinara sauce
• 1/2 cup uncooked long grain white rice
• 3/4 cup chicken broth
• 1 cup shredded mozzarella

• Preheat the oven to 350°F. Wash and dry each bell pepper. Using a sharp knife carefully cut and remove the top center of each bell pepper.

• Place each bell pepper in a 9×13-inch casserole dish. Brush the bell peppers with 1 Tbsp oil and season with ¼ tsp of salt and ¼ tsp cracked black pepper. Bake the bell peppers in a preheated oven for 20 minutes to soften. After 20 minutes remove the bell peppers from the oven and set aside.

• While the bell peppers are baking, make the filling. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add 1 Tbsp of oil. Brown the Italian sausage.

• Once the sausage has browned, add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Continue to sauté over medium heat until the onion is translucent and the garlic is fragrant.

• Next add the uncooked rice, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, 1 tsp of salt, and chicken broth to the skillet. Stir to combine.

• Place a lid on the skillet, turn the heat up to medium-high, and allow the mixture to come to a full boil. Once boiling, immediately reduce the heat to medium-low and allow the mixture to simmer, without lifting the lid or stirring, for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, turn the heat off and let it rest, without lifting the lid, for an additional 5 minutes.

• Next remove the lid, fluff the rice, and stir the mixture again to redistribute the ingredients. Begin to fill each bell pepper with the meat filling. Stuff as much filling as you can into each, filling them all the way to the top.

• Top each bell pepper evenly with shredded mozzarella cheese. Loosely place some tented aluminum foil over the top of the casserole dish and bake for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes the bell peppers should be tender but not mushy.

• Now remove the foil and turn the heat on to broil. Broil the stuffed bell peppers for 2-3 minutes or just until the cheese gets a little brown on top. Be sure to watch the bell peppers closely at this step to prevent the che
ese from over browning. enjoy!

The only thing a good piece of red meat needs is a dash of salt. Everything else just ruins it.

The raised beds look really nice, HJ.
You're missing so much. Ground beef comes to mind, you cant have meat sauce without the sauce. Veal parm without the breading, cheese, and sauce? Beef Stew without the stew? Prime rib without Au jus? Tacos? Philly Cheese Steak?

It rained today so I spent the day in my shop. Did a little cleaning, polished and repainted my fire ax.
Then I convinced myself to tear into the clutch on my kawasaki mule.
20250422_211852.jpg
I did find the problem.
20250422_211843.jpg
The rubber dogs in the secondary were worn out, allowing the secondary to lock up. This causes a direct drive condition, if you start it in gear it's gone! I found a new secondary online, it will be here Thursday.
20250422_211858.jpg

I cut a bunch of stuff off of the rear end that someone welded onto it and the old muffler brackets.
20250422_211918.jpg
The muffler was missing so I checked my stock and found one from a Chinese 4wheeler.
20250422_211959.jpg
I still can't make up my mind on the hood. Should I put it back stock, or go total custom and put the golf cart hood on it?
Screenshot_20250422_103625_Facebook.jpg
This is what stock looks like.
Screenshot_20250422_213138_Chrome.jpg
This is the golf cart hood with the optional headlights.
I purchased the headlight kit, thinking they fit the golf cart hood if I go that way.
I don't like the bug eyes on the stock hood so maybe I can put the light kit into the stock hood? I just don't know yet.

I agree Kirk, if it's prepared and cooked right it should stand on its own. I take offense to people smothering there meat with stuff before they even tast it. If it's a lousy piece of meat then go ahead smother it but at least tast it first.
I was at a Mortons Steakhous, in Palm Beach, with my girl. It’s about 100 bucks a plate, not the kinda place I frequent, I’m more of an Outback, or Longhorns kinda guy. When they put down my already sliced steak, I thought that’s gonna make it dry and cold by the time I was done eating it, so of course I immediately asked for steak sauce.lol

Well they don’t have A-1 at Morton’s, so the waiter goes to the chef, who’s right in eye shot of where we’re sitting, and he tells him I want a steak sauce.

I see the chef is none to happy with the request, so as he’s mixing up what turned out to be a delicious cheesy butter cream sauce for me, he is not even looking at what he’s doing, he’s just steady giving me the evil eye, lol.

Well now I’m worried he’s gonna do something bad to my steak sauce, so I have to keep my eyes on his every move. Our table is on a slightly raised area of the restaurant so I never took my eyes off him, and he never took his eyes off me.

Once I got the sauce, I dipped my first bite of steak full into the little gravy boat the sauce was served in, and then I gave a big smile and a thumbs up to the chef. He snubbed the complement with self righteous indignity..lol

Ya I probably should have tried it first, and once I got the sauce, maybe I should have just poured a little on to my plate, but I just couldn’t help but to purposely feed the chef’s opinion of me.lol

Had to go to Birchwood and pickup steel this morning, getting ready to start building trikes!
I have been kicking this idea around about a rack to haul a trike.
20250423_163253.jpg
So when I got home we started working on this.
20250423_163301.jpg
It tilts so that I can load and unload it by my self.
I want to start taking my 97 GMC when I go to car shows, and I can't get a trike in the bed.

It has a fiberglass cover on it!
(Hi Kirk, Uncle Willy would be so upset with you) so Im going to run it on my work truck for a few days to make sure it dosnt need any changes, then I'll clean it up and powder coat it.

It rained again today! So I did some work on my superduty!20250424_190926.jpg
The cab was sagging and it was making a metal on metal sound.
20250424_190841.jpg
Think this could be the problem?
All six cab mount bushings were crumbly!
20250424_190907.jpg
I ordered a set from Amazon, these were the leftovers! Got enough for another truck. The horn was shot also so it got another set of those also.

I mentioned the other day that the clutch in the Mule was locked up.
20250422_211843.jpg
The rubber snubbers in the secondary were worn down and it was riding up on them and locking the pully from being able to expand.
20250424_202111.jpg
So I got a new one ordered, it came in today also.
20250424_202100.jpg
I've not used this brand before, hopefully it will work out ok.

Nope, no end in sight either.

I got out early and put the step tubes back on the superduty.
20250425_110123.jpg
Finished just in time, it rained hard for a while, I should have grabbed the truck wash brush and cleaned it up a bit. I'm going to get it listed for sale this week.
20250425_111140.jpg
I got the clutch on the Mule,
20250425_111148.jpg
Fit perfect, I tried to start it and no Bueno! Cranks good but not firing!
Didn't have time to figure it out, I had to go help Jeff.
Were going to Main Street cruise in tomorrow with the trikes, we have flyers to pass out and raffle tickets to sell. Donnie and I donated a trike to the masonic lodge, we're selling tickets for it. Proceeds will go to Conasauga 396 charities , last year we bought Christmas and clothes for 107 families through the Boys and Girls club of the Ocoee region.
See y'all tomorrow!

Went to the Main Street cruise in Saturday, passed out flyers for our car show. Sold a trike and a frame. Had a guy called me while I was there and wanted to buy my 454 and turbo 400, told him a price, he wants to hear it run so I pressure washed it Sunday and started hooking it to a steel cart so I can start it. Had to go help Jeff for a while today, he is having a mezzanine installed in his shop, I had to help him move a few things, they are supposed to be done tomorrow, so tomorrow afternoon we can finish emptying the shop, hoping the mezzanine is done so we can fill it. Ezera is coming Thursday to do the floor, he is doing it like he did the lodge floor. Hoping I can get the motor hooked up in-between all of that. Got a ****-ton of stuff for sale right now, I got my eye on a car!

Well! Got myself a little vacation this morning!

20250429_113546.jpg
Had a cut off wheel come apart.
20250429_131838.jpg
Doc said a week with a splint,
That's going to leave at mark!
Guess I'll spend a few days organizing tools and sweeping the floor.
Jeff got a mezzanine installed in his shop yesterday, they finished it today, I was going to help him load stuff up there, I'll get to sit on the lift truck and lift stuff up to him.
