What is the going price for a 16 in your area,
I gave 600 for this one. I had the lights, wire, and paint already so I'm only going to have some labor and a gallon of cool seal for the roof. I'm not going to sell it but it will be worth 1600 to 1800 around here. I had a guy offer me a grand for it like it was.

They are expensive here... If he didn't pull the floor out he could have probably got a buyer for twice what he is asking (even with the rotten floor. Done... the thing will be over 2 grand and then some. Depending on what you set it up for. I've spent too much money this year on "other things" ... no hidden cash left... The Mrs wont go for it. "Not another project"... yada yada...

Well I got the roof coated with cool seal, then I finished the wiring, I ran a ground circuit to every light I just dont like using 26 ga. aluminium sheeting as a ground circuit. Then I painted the rear door.

Seems I need some Jim thinner. lol

What type of paint are you? With the masking, I assume it was sprayed.

HJ, that trailer project is coming along nicely, the door looks great. For best results you should alternate 1 part Jim thinner to 1 part water. :lol_hitti

I'm on the look out for them all the time, how long do you want and do you want a swing door or drop gate.
These crazy people go buy a trailer and mower and go into business for two months then figure out they actually have to work and sell it for 1/2 price.

Its ace hardware's version of rustoleum and acetone it glosses real nice. Only on equipment. When I do the ford I'm going to Chattanooga and buy PPG I have tried the local paint house and it's not the quality I want. Don says PPG so I found some[emoji106]

Thanks it's coming along nicely. And yes you are right, I always thin my Jim thinner with water, I bounced out of bed at 6:30 this morning feeling better than I have in six months.

Welcome
Yes on the polishing, I polished several pieces of aluminum trim that I normally wouldn't have last night. And no on the blindness only quality thinner is sprayed in this shop.

I'm good, got a large stock put back before covid hit. I have enough food and supplies here that I could last six months without leaving. Thanks, I do appreciate the offer tho.

Got the bracket on over the wheel, that was a trick. Its installed but too dark for pics.
Fenders are back on and most of the trim.
Tomorrow should finish it up. Then load it up and go to the yard sale on thursday.

Thanks guys, I'm happy with every part of it I have a gallon of flat black house paint I may put a coat on the floor but other than that it's off the list.
Terry
I have been watching market place for another one to flip, around here there at 1600 to 2000 All in I dont have half that in this one. There is a good chance I could sell it at the yard sale.
On to the next project!

Let me get a little farther down my list and I'll see if I can work something in!
I jumped the trailer up the list because it was just too ugly to be seen with.
I'm hoping to get rid of a bunch of old car parts at the yard sale, left overs from several projects to make more room in the shop. I sold one of my minature cars already.

I have been going through the shop cleaning and sorting for the last 5 days getting my trailer loaded for the sale. I thought I would spare you all the daily pics. I spent today making some art to take to the sale, I have always wondered if it would sell so I'm going to test the waters.20200927_193008.jpeg

Hey Jim
That trailer looks handy loaded with goodies out of the shop.
Good luck at the yard sale with those artist trinkets are quite entertaining and should go quickly.
