My wife's arm was a bit sore after shot #1, neither of us had issues after shot #2.

I have multiple friends who retired from Pfizer, anyone know about their facilities here in the USA?

As-to having to get a booster towards the end of the year, I am OK w/that. I get the flu shots already, so what's another shot? If I start to behave badly, I'm blaming it on mRNA and nanoparticles.

Glad to hear it wasn't too bad for you and your wife. Their facility in Kzoo is still there, it's where your shot came from. I'm with you on the booster. And Bill Gates had all the real side effects resolved.

Were feeling much better, Pat is cooking country style ribs and baked beans. Just stayed in the house all day and rested, should be back to normal tomorrow. I have a week to get the sewing machine back together and finish the upholstry on the speedy cart, first car show is May 1st.
I was talking to a friend in Ohio and he may have a line on a bumper car body.

I've been doing some checking. In Tennessee you can plate a side by side but you are limited to 35 mph streets. If I find something like a crosley I wont be limited to city streets. This is important because I'm about 10 miles out of town just off the highway so I need to be able to run 55 mph. Maybe a smart car as a doner.

Seems like a transverse inline-4 DOHC bike engine of 800-1000cc would work for the size of the body. Look at the 'reverse trike' bikes for packaging the drivetrain, and adapting it to two rear wheels. Vanderhall, Can-Am, Polaris all have 'em.

I suppose an early Gold Wing would work too, low-profile, plenty of power, and probably fairly-cheap. A GL500 Honda transverse V-twin should present a compact package.

Yes, I suspected it was a 150cc rear-drive with a near-horizontal cyl & head. I suspect that if you use it at the rear, there will be a considerable height to the install. That was why I was referencing something FWD, or perhaps a deDion-type torque tube to the rear.

Amazing how these vaccines, despite being attenuated makes us all react so differently.

I had the AZ product, despite being an anti-vaxer (But I need to travel) and it did not touch me.

Conversely, Sally, who is strong as a horse, had her **** kicked by it.

Thanks for the reply, I was posing that as a question to-see about who had heard what about Pfizer being a major player in COVID Rx. A couple years ago I was back in Kalamazoo for a landmark h.s. reunion, and drove right-through one of their farms where they do research, they own a lot of land. It's the largest R&D and production location in the multi-national corporation.

I speak frequently with my Pfizer chemist friend and his co-worker at Pfizer wife, a research associate, both retired. They were happy to see the announcement of the half-billion dollar expansion.

Last night, I was speaking with a friend who is an MD, she works in Atlanta, and she said she saw a variety of responses. I get updates from the State of FL Dept. of Health because of my state paramedic license. People are affected differently. The 'bad' effects of COVID affect solid organs and the lungs, capillaries 'leak,' and apparently, the recovery is not-complete, assuming that the disease doesn't kill you.

They are about the same as a side by side, like X said lights, wipers, horn, seat belts, in Tennessee you have to wear a helmet as if it were a motorcycle. The way around it is to rebodie an existing vehicle like a smart car, or a Fiat Arbath. Like I said earlier if you go with the side by side then your limited to 35 mph streets or, rebodie a micro car then you wouldn't be limited.

I think in 2013 the entire shop cost around ten thousand dollars, that included the dirt work, the floor which was poured thick to support a lift, and the roof, I put the roll up door in myself to save the markup of having a contractor install it. That dose not include the two additions that were put on later. The rule of thumb on block is whatever you pay for a new block that is about what a good mason will charge to lay them. i.e. 2.25 each for new block, 2.25 each to lay them.

Got the sewing machine back together this morning. Did some test runs, there is a small catch in the mechanism some where, it dosnt seem to affect anything but I can feel it. I oiled it well and am hoping it will help.

This is the part that was seized, The grease was so dry I wire brushed the old stuff off, it was that bad.
20210426_111906.jpeg
This is the drive plate, the flywheel on the electric motor has a cork lining on it and the drive plate is pressed against it via a fork to run the machine.
20210426_122307.jpeg
I replaced the power cord also.
20210426_122318.jpeg
It was a little brittle.
The bil showed up with trailer light problems, I spent the afternoon rewiring his trailer, I have never seen so many scotch locs on one trailer as this one.
Had a meeting at the lodge tonight when I got there the pop off valve on the water heater had popped off. Going to clean up the mess and go get a new valve tomorrow.

If I ever find the idiot who invented Scotchlocks, there won't be enough of him left for forensics to identify. He as bad as most engineers.

X, I have a backhoe if there is anything left I know a place!!!
The wire came into the bottom of the ramp near the hinge every one of the wires had several scotch locs in them like they were using the cut off scraps to make the wire long enough. They were all rotted. I dont understand why someone would put there name on that kind of ****.
But then again the reason I get them so cheap is because people cant figure out where the problem is.

HJ, I’d say you got your money’s worth on that sewing machine power cord.
You sure are a jack of all trades.
Have you planted your garden yet?

Jay, that's what comes from having an expensive hobby and no money, you have to do it all. Lol
I haven't decided what to do in the garden yet. I want to plant some things but I have so many other projects started that I haven't got started on it yet, I am running out of time so I was thinking about getting some chickens and building a coop in the garden area, but that takes time also: Dunno:

There's the difference. Most trailer guys either don't put anything on them, or just wrap them with electrical tape. Personally, I like the crimp **** connector that have the heat shrink with adhesive on them, but even those that aren't supported will work open after a while. Most of my stuff gets electrical tape over the HS **** connectors. And I'm always looking for a better way to do things.

I love the heat shrink crimp connectors. I first used them when I had to repair about every wire on my truck bed harness. A cat had come on the property and was chased by my dogs to the bed of my truck. I guess the dogs thought they would claw their way through the inner bed to get to it, guess what was a easy target for them.
Next time I’m just going to the you pull and get a bed harness.
But I never had a issue with the repairs, that was at least 5 years ago.

Hi Jim, I stopped by and BSd with xtrem and didn’t say squat to ya,

If you could, plan on bringing your cart down in November to ride around with us at the Flywheelers. Huge swap meet, bunch of old tractors, tractor pulls. We have a blast. They have all the lanes one way to keep traffic flowing and road rage down:lol_hitti

Hey Craig, it's just like at my shop. I'm working and the others are talking, I like it that way. I'll see what's going on, what date is it.
I got a good start on the upholstry today, it's been 20 years since I ran my sewing machine, I hope the lines come out straight.
20210428_123532.jpeg
I cut some foam
20210428_115452.jpeg
Then some vinyl
20210428_164203.jpeg
Did some layout
20210428_123548.jpeg
Chalk lines
20210428_140240.jpeg
Ran it through the sewing machine
20210428_173532.jpeg
Put some layout lines on the cushion to get an idea of how it should look
