You have a head start with your quickly advancing age...

"Handicapped Cart"...

Next project should include one of those extension "grabber claw" things.

Knuckle boom. Guessing Strouty would help pay for the development, if you built one for him at the same time.

If Strouty wanted a knuckle boom for a cart, the cart would have to redesigned for something like 8,000 lb capacity.:D

Not if he was using it to get parts out of his new Lista cabinets

Wait... He got MORE Lista Cabinets?

and YES a nice Knuckle Boom on that cart would be nice... doesn't need 8,000lb capacity... just enough to carry a fellow elderly GJ member would be needed. So... 1,000 lb should work.

sorry if i'm a little late to the party. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIM!!

speaking of that how old are you now?

love the Bday card from your granddaughter too.

speaking of all those block walls i need to build and rebuild a couple here too this summer so best of luck with yours. I like using the 85 pounders with the fiberglass pins holding each row on so I don't have to silicone them or short walls i've used the 30 pounders with the lips in back. good exercise that is for certain.

cheers!!!

Get better soon, Sir. Make sure you get a Covid test if the symptoms persist. The vaccine isn't 100% effective. Prayers for you.

Thanks Terry
Kay I feel like I could use one now, you always inspire me to keep going!

I feel a little better today, or I did until I planted the two peach trees I bought last week, I was afraid they were going to die. Dalton was fussing at me, he said he would come do it after work. He picked up the wicker furniture and Donnie brought my new to me plas over. Good trade I think.

I'll need to clean it up and build a cart for it, need casters.
Have any of you ever used surplus center, I have bought keyed shafts, motors, and gear boxes from them when I was working, they sell surplus stock, like casters.

I went to get a haircut this morning since it goes past the scrap yard I stopped to see the new treasures. They had a couple of items but were too rich for my blood. I spread most of three yards of top soil yesterday, I worked on it some today but didnt finish. Pat went to Lowes and got some hydgrangias this morning so I planted them in the planter in the back of the house.

They did have some casters at the scrap yard.

I have a place just down the highway that sells landscaping materials, so since I had the trailer hooked up I went and got three yards of mulch.

Thanks guys, Pat never says a word about anything she would like to have so I listen very close for hints. I got her to go to Lowes and pick something. I like it and she smiled all evening.
Didnt get any casters this trip.
How many control valves are on a knuckle boom, 3 sticks?
I have a box of small cylinders.
I just traded for a new plas might need to test it out.

Donnie upgraded his plas table.

I suppose you could make it work with three, main boom, outer boom, and rotate. Mine all have an extension on the outer boom and perk also has a winch, plus the controls for the outriggers. They made pretty small ones, but even then they were still pretty big. I suppose you could just use an armatron, I still have one somewhere.

This is probably why I like Knucklebooms so much. ;)
