I'm hoping to get back to my regularly scheduled program soon, I have several projects waiting for me as soon as I get done playing carpenter in the basement.

I’m a few pages behind since I stopped in to wish you a happy thanksgiving but looks like you’re still busy and working on almost anything and then done so keep up the hood work.

I’m guessing your planning on another family get together and feast or maybe a quiet dinner at home since Thanksgiving was big. In any case best wishes and hope your holiday season is great.

Aldo I’m looking forward to the truck rebuild next year.

I'm not done with the basement, Christmas kind of derailed that so next week will be devided between my basement and the bil's house, he is wanting me to build a new bathroom off of his new master.
I am hoping to work on my gas pumps so that they are ready for the concrete this spring.
The superduty has an oil leak so it's going in the main shop, I'm hoping its valve cover gaskets.
I have some maintenance to do on uncle Willie/ Pines truck, oil change, clean the frame and maybe paint it, thinking about new head and tail lights, there getting foggy.
I guess the bil's pontiac isn't getting moved until spring at this point so I dont want to start the 64 C10 project until it's gone. The cabin will show up sometime when the ground dries up. I'm sure something else will pop up. That's the short plan anyway.

Drives, you know it's always a party here, we will have Christmas eve at Pat's sisters house and Christmas day will be here at our place, more food than a small country could consume and lots of close family to talk to and about. I hope you and yours have a great holiday, Merry Christmas my friend.

Hey Jim
I've enjoyed our many visits over this past year. Even though We've never met I feel that we know each other pretty well.
You are quite the creative and talented guy. That is what makes stopping by very enjoyable.
Enjoy your family this week end and have a very merry Christmas

Don

Thanks to everyone for the christmas well wishes, we had a big get-to-gether at Pat's sisters place Friday and another at our place Saturday lots of people and food, some good conversations, and nothing negative, although it wasnt needed they know better at my place.
I got a really late start today, kind of slept in a bit. But we got moving and made B.E.L.T. sandwiches for brunch, cause it was so close to lunch before we got moving.
I got two hammer handles for Christmas, some people just know how to shop.

The bil bought an old semi trailer this summer and amongst all of the treasures in it were a couple of old sledgehammer heads.

I knocked out the old wood and gave them a quick blast. The handles had to be fit to the heads so the grinder and a new 36 grit pad had them sized in short order.
I put an old worn disc back on the grinder and finished shaping the tapers on the handles.

Then I gave them a couple of coats of BLO, they came out nice.

One is a 10 lb and the other is a 12 lb, it's good to be back in the shop.

I used to work in hvac and I have a buddy that works for trane, it could take both of us to figure it out but we are going to try. When I bought it at the estate sale an assembled shelving unit was sitting on the cord so I just cut it, I need to put a cord on it and try it, it may work, we just dont know yet.
