I am looking to buy a harmonic balancer puller set.

Any suggestions for weekend user?

The price range for a set seems large. Is the Snap-on that much better than the Astro Pneumatic?

Thank you for you advice / input.

I have the Astro set, used professionally. Works great, pick up some long m6x1 bolts or the OTC update for their puller and you can pull nearly anything.

It generally a case of 1 kit won't do everything you need. You best researching what best for what you mostly working on. No need spend crazy money on them as weekend user, I got some lower cost kits in daily autoshop use and they do just fine .

I use to rent/borrow from Auto Zone all the time. Went to buy one and it was scattered parts in a plastic bag. Counter guy suggested the rental in the blow mould case and just keep it. And it was cheaper.
