It's a common misconception that Kansas City is in Kansas. While there is a Kansas City, KS, the bulk of Kansas City is in Missouri and HJE is located on the Missouri side.

Sorry, my bad. I thought I was still in Kansas when driving from Fort Leavenworth to HJE when I was there.

SK order received. Included the 1/4 extra long socket set (SK40805). 10MM sockets from left to right (or top to bottom) are XL, Deep, Semi-Deep, and Standard. The XL socket is 4 inches in length.

Received my order today, including the Norseman drill bit set, Craftsman punch and chisel set, and SK 3/8" impact extension set, SK 3/8" impact universal, and SK low profile ratchet. The SK gloves were a nice add-on. Thanks SK and Harry J Epstein!

Got my lot today!

24" PEC rule, 6" PEC double square, CS Osborne transfer punch set, and the 6pc USA file lot.

Sadly the box art got overlooked. But they did include an expired HF coupon!

Can anyone on GJ do a review on the transfer punch set? I've been after a set. C.S. Osborne is fairly local to me, so I'd like to buy theirs if they're any good. There isn't much about this set on GJ or the web, and the Amazon reviews are mixed. I don't put much stock in those anyway.

HJE showed stock on those when I ordered them as well, should be fine. They emailed me yesterday to let me know the long reach screwdriver set is back ordered, but would ship the rest out now and the back order when it comes in.

I had really hoped that SK would have the 1/2 and 1/4 flex 90 Tooth ratchets out for this year, I really like the 3/8th and am excited to try the rest.

I have had their SAE set for a few years and they are a good set. Quality steel with good points made in usa. SAE goes to 1/2 inch I believe in 1/32 increments I believe. I am planning on getting the metric set soon.

I agree! They are some of my favorite gloves! I ordered enough SK stuff just to get the free gloves. Could I have just bought some gloves? Sure. But that's not the GJ way!

Well, the USPS gods were on my side, my order came in a day earlier than expected! Love the new SK screwdrivers I ordered, WAY better than the clear handle Craftsman I’ve had for 15 years. And the gloves are very nice, I will certainly be using those and enjoying them. Thanks again HJE & Crew for putting this on! Looking forward to next year already lol

That's a beautiful sight. I love those green hard handle SK screwdrivers. I'd have the whole set if I didn't already have a full set of Weras and Felos already.

But that only covers Monday and Tuesday you need a different full set of drivers for each day of the week. That way your tools don't wear out as fast.

I was in Kansas City for work and finally made it to the Retail store. All I can say is wow. I truly wish I had a place like that locally. Everyone there is friendly. Places like that are a dying breed. I'm so glad we on this site support a family business like this. They definitely don't make them like that anymore.

Yes, Epstein's Day is held on 4 July every year and lasts several days after. SK day is usually in October but there was none last year.
