Had a few things to do after getting the mail.

Modified Square, Tekton 6-1 screwdriver, dental pick, Channellock 212 oil filter pliers, oil can, a couple of helmet stickers and swag.

Thanks Jori.
That mouse pad is sweet!

There are just a few items that are holding up a good chunk of orders. The first is the infamous Vessel Water Faucet Screwdriver. They should be back in stock in a week or so. We're also out of their #2 screwdrivers with the fancy handle. The other is the Wilde Pull Scraper which we should have in soon (probably next week). Once those items come in that should free up a bunch of orders. If you don't want to wait and would like us to remove an item and send out the order just let me know and I'll get that taken care of.

I ordered a couple other doodads I didn't photograph (including a 100 pack of hack saw blades I'm pretty excited about!) but it seems these two Wright mini ratchets qualified me for the t shirt, which turned out to be the real show stopper.

Loved the box art! And, it wrapped 3 sides. Thank you HJE

What great packing!

1752854804663.png
Set of letter drill bits, etc.
The Wright tools qualified me for a way-cool tee shirt.
I'm thinking the screwdriver was the mystery box. Just no box!

Thank you HJE. That was fun.

Got my order today, probably the biggest Epstein's day order I have made yet. Not sure how I qualified for the Channellock had and jar gripper as I only had one lonely 718 duckbill on my order but not complaining. Really Appreciate the great deal on all of the Felo tools.

Thanks for being and awesome small business that is about more than profit at all costs.

A modest order by Garage Journal standards. HJE t-shirt, Channellock oil filter pliers + swag, Kanetsune knife, Dexter-Russell bench scraper, bomb tethers, Dexter-Russell chef knife, Wilde pull scraper, Mayhew scraper set.

Someday I’ll share my growing collection of box art requests. I need to find a place worthy of display in the shop.

My package arrived Friday, grabbed from the box on Saturday, opened it that night. It was this side up in the parcel locker, guess they were impressed too

My haul, the main "needs' were the metric ball end Allen wrenches, and Norseman drill bit. Still left lots of stuff on my wishlist, for buying after seeing what the rest of you bought. Sharpening stones, crowfoot wrenches, Wilde pliers, Magnolia brushes, etc

Thanks again to the HJE staff for the quality tools, great shipping, great box art, and the fun raffle, even tho I had no horse in the race.

Now we all know that's a C.S. Osborne seam ripper knife on the left there, but what's the green handle? And the stamped metal handles?

The stamped handle items are for painting:

"R. Murphy Sash Painter 2 1/2" Mohair Plush (86712) SASHP

2-1/2 inch sash painter with mohair plush. Apply paint to the mohair with your regular brush then paint those hard-to-get-at places. Perfect for painting the meeting rail on double hung windows and other surfaces. Angled aluminum handle."

This was my first HJE Day event and I ended up placing three orders over the July 4th weekend, but no shipping notices yet. In the meantime, I'm living vicariously through y'all's updates here and my wishlist keeps growing. LOL

Same here.

I asked their support number about it a week after my order with no shipping confirmation and they said they were still working through HJE event orders.

They bumped my order up since I inquired and I now have a USPS tracking number, but usps status says awaiting package.

I’m not worried on my end. I’m just sharing my experience and excitedly waiting for my package.

Happy to have participated in another Epstein Day! This year especially in honor of Steve. Never had the chance to talk with him in person when I visited but always loved listening to his knowledge and insight on YouTube.

Biggest Epstein Day haul I could do! Had to add a few of the new Felo stock 😄

Got a big box today!

Big pic, I'll break it down into smaller segments:
IMG_3666.jpg

Top row, L to R:
Three leather sheaths (for me, cast iron griddle handle covers) (USA)
Two Lutz #02 small file handles (should have ordered one bigger one) (USA)
Bondhus Torx keys (USA)
- Two Japanese springy scissors (Japan)
- US Tape measuring tape (USA)
- Palmgren 2" spring clamps (USA) - much bigger than I expected, and lovely quality, very happy with these
- General Inspection kit 54000 ($16.99) (USA)-- I was hunting for a simple telescoping magnet, and found this duo for about the same price as a telescoping magnet costs nowadays. Very nice grippy texture on the handle, very nice quality. Never pondered having a magnifying glass on a stick, but sure, that might be handy someday.
- FACOM wee ceramic slot screwdriver (FRONCE) - I have trouble passing up cheap FACOM
- FACOM 2.5mm hex driver (FRONCE) - dumb purchase! Like, even dumber than the other one. Didn't realize it was hex.
- Wilde 544.Z/BB cotter pin extractor (USA) - $6.15! What a bargain.
- Wilde 12" pry bar with striking cap (USA) $9.25! Very good texture on both Wilde handles, not slippery at all.
- Magnolia steel brush, Magnolia brass brush (USA)
- Dental pick (USA)
- Knipex pliers wrench 125mm (Germany)
- Knipex can coozie -- I don't drink anything that comes in cans -- anybody want this?!

IMG_3667.jpg

- Moar Palmgren clamps! (USA)
- Felo wee tack pry bar (Germany) At $3.50, now the cheapest German tool I have ever bought, half the price of the plastic Knipex tweezers I bought last year.
- Crescent 6" and 10" adjustable wrenches (USA)
- Round ******* file (India)
- Warrensville 10" mill ******* file (India)
All plugged together:
- Wright 1/2" female to 3/8" male adapter (USA)
- Snap On 3/8" extension, WWII era (USA)-- at $6.50, the cheapest Snap On thing I will ever buy.
- Wright 3" long 3/8" wobble extension (USA) - my first Wright tool ever was a 6" wobble sold by Imparts in St. Louis, and it's been super handy ever since
- Kal 3/8" female to 1/4" male adapter (USA)
- Bonney 1/4" female to 3/8" male adapter (USA)
- SK 3/16" line up tool (USA) $12 - How do you live without some line up tools?!
IMG_3668.jpg

- Dexter Chinese-style slicer and dicer (not cleaver), stainless (USA) $34.95
- T shirt (USA)
- Grabber (MS-GRAB) (USA) $12.50. Ordered by accident! Only two jaws, flex only in the middle. This will go in my stash of retrievers at home
- Grabber, Ullman No. 16 (USA) $10.40. Four little wiry fingers, and a very competitive price vs. the outside world.

Well, these are a little smaller than I expected:

IMG_3664.jpg

When did they start chopping the tips off of Crescent wrenches? It's a plot to sell you the next size up, I tells ya!
The rubbery grips on these are especially grippy, I like them.

IMG_3670.jpg

The li'l Felo pry bar next to my slightly large, for a pocketknife, Buck. Good nonslip texture on the Felo handle.
IMG_3673.jpg

And this is why my box was so big. Support Mexican industry! Buy a broom!
IMG_3674.jpg

Broom on the right was purchased 12+ years ago when I moved into The Underground Lair. I believe it was a Quickie brand and I wasn't seeing a replacement in the big box hardware stores nearby, which is where I got it. Which is frustrating since the handle screws on and I customized it with thick soft slip-on handle stuff from McMaster.

$7.50! What a bargain.

I received my order today also. I am always amazed at how well the tools are packed in the box. Thank you Jori and team. My dog even approved of the purchase. Any update on how many people participated this year?
