Anyone familiar or and collect old Hubbell products? I was doing some salvaging this past weekend and came across this Hubbell glass lens or as I later found out is called Annunciator Component/System Signal. I collect a lot of old glass stuff as well as industrial type switches so I happy to get it but I’ve never heard of Hubbell. Reckon what decade this was produced? 50s would be my guess but I don’t know.

no idea, but ironically I was just watching a you tube video a few days ago where a ratrod builder in Africa use a very similar (if not the same) prismatic lamp in a build .
the video is here, lamp starts at 20:40
I've seen Hubbel cord plugs etc but never lights

Hubbell is still around and makes at least a zillion electrical products.
Well yea, this piece was salvaged from a site built in 1902 and abandoned in the early 70s then it sat for decades leading up to it’s demolition so I don’t think there’s a modern piece to be found. I rarely find one of these that’s glass, usually they’re all a very hard plastic.

IMHO, Hubbel products are better than the average and better than most of the products currently available.
I would use more of them if they were less expensive.

I doubt Hubbell still carries glass indicator light lenses but I think they have plastic ones that are similar. It's been a while since I've looked through their catalog.

^ Somewhere I have several of those - much smaller diameter - that have a socket attached to the back for a #53 or #57 bulb - they're faceted like those above. Early dashboard "indicator lights".

@Bamacruiser98 ...Google image search on a Linux pc. Right clicked and saved your original to my desktop. Then searched Hubbell Red Glass in the text field and using the camera icon "search by image" and uploading the image from the desktop. Right clicking and choosing search with google lens on the original can also work, but will return way fewer results because it will use the file name "Img.1234.jpeg" or whatever. The more info you add, the better results.

Hell yeah, you just use the basics as far as image searching? Google, lens, eBay lens? I tried a few times and only found one example for a box of like 12 on charish or one of those idiotic sites.

Noticed the same myself--seems like almost all search engines seem to heavily favor for sale listings and fake spam blogs.
