No longer in production, you found a set, too pricey for me, though I'd like to have the set, I work as a hydraulic systems mechanic in the airline industry, they would be very useful. Our tool room has some of these.

I have a set of 8-10 of those, I have no idea of the age. Mine are not Proto, and say something like TAC on them. I found an ad for the brand some time ago in an old Popular Mechanics or like publication TAC meant something like Tubing Accessory Company or the like. I was given my set by a friend back in jr high. In all the years I have had them I do not recall ever using them even once! I still like having them though, cause you just never know, someday there may be a one time use they will save the day for me. I have rarely ever sold a tool, the only reason to sell a tool is to replace it with a better tool!

Geez... that certainly seems inexpensive for a set of Snap on anything....

Yeah, definetly. My guess is that they simple dont sell these things at any volume even close to traditional crowsfeet. I mean, My regular Crowsfeet were 180$ after I added the extra size in there.

Now, ya gotta figure, these things are crowsfeet built like ratcheting wrenches, and ratcheting wrenches tend to cost more than traditional wrenches. Supply and Demand: Id bet the markup on these is a fraction of the mark up on traditional crowsfeet.

I really dont see what I would use one of these for, other than maybe on a breaker bar as a sort of "indexing" ratcheting wrench. Any Ideas?

They aren't Snap-on...they're Blue Point.

Yeah, that's exactly what went through my mind too, although I am sure that there are other uses. I'd be interested to know what they are.

The set I have are between about 1/2"-1" I think the reason I have never found a use for them is their size always seemed a bit bulky for my liking.
