Does Lowe's have 3/4" Craftsman ratchets in stock? Or are they special order? I just looked through the weekly ad and didn't see any 3/4" sets.

I've been looking at 3/4 drive sets online. When I see the price they're asking for today's stuff, I'm so grateful for my set of Wright and I'm glad I wasn't forced into a lesser quality due to immediate need.

I passed up a 3/4" drive Proto Sunday at the flea market. It's out there.

Lowes cleared out the Kobalt 3/4 a while back to make room for CM. Got one Kobalt ordered with FS for additional leverage on a rusted bolt :bounce:

more bs about websites. I can remember before computers how the supply houses use to tell us wait until we are computerized. we will know exactly how many widgets we have in stock. funny thing is after 20 yrs they still don't know how many are in stock even with computers. The only way to know is to call the store if you can ever get someone to answer the phone but the best is too check with your own eyes

Because the people posting on this board know more about Lowe's than the people working there.

That’s probably true. Every person I talk to at Lowe’s has a different answer.

Literally nobody there has any clue if they’re getting rid of Kobalt or not.

I love Kobalt tools, they’re way way way better than Crapman tools. Crapman is complete garbage now that Stanley owns them.

The local Lowes in Livingston Tx. has 3/4 Craftsman but I wouldn't buy it if given any choice. Rough ground, sharp edges, gritty action.

Depends on the store. I've never had Tractor Supply be wrong about something the website said was in stock. John Deere has a really good system that will drill down to the exact number of a particular part in stock at a dealer. The technology is out there; if a store doesn't use it then that's an indictment of the particular retailer, not the idea in general.

The problem isn't so much the technology, the problem is more that stuff is stolen or misplaced. The computer is not so good at tracking those actions.
