I am looking at buying these two sets:

http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00947313000P?prdNo=2&blockNo=2&blockType=G2

http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00947314000P?prdNo=6&blockNo=6&blockType=G6

I want to make sure they are the old style Made in USA wrenches that we all know and love. The pictures shows made in USA on the actual wrenches but it doesnt say anywhere in the description where they are made. If they are the new Made in China wrenches i think I'll pass. Anyone bought these sets yet???:headscrat

I'd be worried that you'd get china wrenches.
Last time I checked my local sears still had the USA ones.

I'm pretty sure those are going to be the China ones. I'd try to find a set on ebay with pictures of the actual item, or try to find them in store.

the only china combo wrenches i've seen thus far have been the 13pc sets. I'd be willing to bet you'd be fine. Often times those sets are specifically made and are set aside and to be honest i cant imagine they move many of those at $130 when you can get a 13pc set for $100. In other words, even if china replacements are planned, i really doubt they've infected those sets yet.

Personally, i'd roll the dice without hesitation. I'm sure they'll be USA.

Order on line on Sunday for the 5-10% discount, Use a discount code like SNOW or others found in HOT INDEX have them shipped to your local store for free. Check them out at the store to be sure they are AMERICAN made.

I have both the metric and SAE set of those wrenches and have been quite happy with them. I got them a few years back, when they were all USA made and if you can find those I would recommend them. They have a nice even deep chrome finish and the length of them is very nice. In my opinion they are much more useful due to the long pattern than the standard raised panel Craftsman wrenches.

IN the Pictures you can clearly see the USA stamp on the Wrenches, Its odd that it doesnt give any COO in the Specifications. Buy Them and if you dont like them, Return them..

Since they are advertised as professional, them make sure they say that when you get them, make sure they don't try and sent the polished ones.

alright thanks guys.....i wasnt trying to start a USA vs. China debate again...we have enough of those as it is. I'm just gonna just order them and see what happens. I was hoping someone has already bought one of the sets already. It seems like a good deal because you get alot of the bigger wrenches included.

They had the Pro locking pliers pictured with the Made in USA stamp, so I ordered them. Ended up receiving the China ones. I sent them back and sought out the USA ones in my store.

If the on-line pic shows Made in USA then order them up and see what you get. If not USA then return them.
