I am looking to get a drain extension kit to avoid going to store and looking for parts.

I have a HF 29gallon 2stage compressor. The one they sell for around $359.

Would the 8 inch kit be sufficient or go with the 12". I am concerned that I don't want the 12" if it is going to stick out a lot if the 8" is sufficient.

Here is a link to the product.

Don't ask.
Go with the one that lets you drain the tank w/o any problems, better too long than too short.

Until you trip over it, snag something on on it or snap it off.

Measure for the length you want.
Go to the plumbing section of a hardware store.
Buy a street Ell, valve and ****** of desired length.
