Did a google search and image view for red epoxy floors. Some pretty neat looking floors came up. I think it looks bold and if that's what you are after, you should go for it and not give up. I saw one in orange amongst them. Very cool. I say go for it.

Is there a particular reason why you want a red floor?

Just something different and all my stuff is red. Tractor, 4 wheeler, tool box ext. I thought it would look good with white walls and a red floor. But im leaning to a more common color now, after looking into it.

The red floor pictured above does look pretty nice in the setting it is in, but I tend to think it would depend on the garage it is in. I realize it is all a matter of taste and everyone's taste is different, but I think what you mentioned in post number 8 would look really nice, a light blue with flakes.

You'll need some contrast, if everything is red you'll get sick of looking around.

I guess well see were this thread goes.
Seems like theirs people for it, and against it.
Initially, i thought no one else has done the red.As i couldnt find anything. Wile noticing the epoxy suppliers sell the red.
But no epoxy supplier has gotten back to me. except Scott. So this may mean, its not a good color...to do like Scott said.

YES
The red would cover the dead bodies, and the other half..if done in blue would cover the crystal meth blue substance. All depends on the cooking temps. This would be another discussion. Thanks.

We have "safety red" and "tile red".
Tile red is used in food factories, chem plants, etc... and is not bad to work with. Safety Red is the one I am not a big fan of. Maybe it's the iron-oxide used in the pigmentation, just not my favorite color overall.

I think im nixing the red. Because (i think) your web site is more money for the red. For good reason.
Some other suppliers are less. And some suppliers web sites seem to look like its fine to just through on.
Reality seems to me, you need a red primer, 2 coats of red epoxy, and clear.

I'm new here, but I used red epoxy in my workshop. Unfortunately, the only pic is one of my car, but you can see the floor pretty well in the picture. It's not perfect, but I think it came out pretty well. I don't know what brand it was, it was bought from a local high end paint store. I used some of the cheaper stuff in a previous garage and this epoxy is far superior to that stuff.

I guess what I am saying is: if you want to use red, use it. I'm not that handy and I didn't have any trouble doing it. It has held up very well...the only thing that has damaged it is carbide tipped studs on my snowmobile (but they tear up ANYTHING!).
