Not sure if this is legit because the username was just created and has zero posts. Username Wanda claims to be affiliated with Waterloo and wants to talk to me about market research questions. Seems a bit fishy. Anyone else receive this message? She said she saw my post from the summer when I picked up my used Waterloo stack.

If the questions are legit, it's probably real. Many manufacturers lurk here. If on the other hand she wants you to send her some money or all of your passwords and accounts information, pass and recommend banning her.

At UCSD a lot of Waterloo box's were purchased, they held up real good. Maybe they want to know how your stack holding up. I would'nt mind trying the PCA-5211 and a second rolly with different configuration ****'ed together so that I can get to all the drawers. I don't know how easily the drawers open/close when fully loaded? Maybe Waterloo can consider making/testing them for the injured in society.

I would love a USA made box at a fair price. I cant justify a truck brand box. I need to look at Armstrong boxes and proto.

I talked to her last week. It appears to 100% legit. All she asked for was a phone number to call me. Didn't ask for any other personal info. Basically it is a survey for people who use waterloo products, what do you like, what you don't. How can we make the product better and what do you look for in a box. You guys always wonder if companies are watching what we say here, well waterloo wants to know. It takes give or take 15 minutes.

Many brands definitely do monitor the forums.

Waterloo has made some terrible products in the past few years, or rather great products that suffered from poor marketing and disconnection from the target audience. e.g. Craftsman AXS plastic-bodied BB tool storage. Makes sense that they're now trying to reach out for wider range of audience feedback.

I have asmall waterloo half size box I got from lowes after thanksgiving sale a few yeras back for $50. not bad for the money. I'd love it if they made something deep (24+") in a 40-42" wide chest/top combo at a sub $600-700 price point. That's what it'd take to knock off the US general box from it's perch in the value box world for us non-pro guys who want a large box but can't fork out for a SO or matco box

I don't know how she came up with the screen namw Wanda, but her name is Anne.

I have the same message it refers to a post I made earlier on some Waterloo boxes I had purchased - wanting feedback on them.

Interesting to see a manufacturer follow up in this way

mould love to see something along the lines of the classic 96/matco 4s/mac tech series from waterloo, triple bay, 24" or greater depth, $2-3000
always liked the "pro" series stuff from them.

Wanda....Wanda Sykes? See if Steve chimes in, believe he received a similar message.

Checking in.

Spoke with Wanda at length and I'm really looking forward to helping her fund the construction of a new orphanage in her native Nigeria. The best part is I really stand to cash in when she pays me back and then some!!!

Seriously, I did receive a PM from said individual wishing to speak with me about the box I'm trading in on a Snappy. We'll see what she says.
