I'm the crazy dude with some kind of sick need to collect all sockets possible. I posted my collection here a year or two ago if you're curious, but I've expanded greatly since then.
Basically, if there's a fastener on something from the 20th and 21st centuries from 1/4" to 1/2" drive (from 3mm to 38mm, no skips, with SAE equivalent sizes, and hundreds of specialty sockets), I have a socket for it. However, I haven't gotten into impact sockets (yet) due to the lack of space and pneumatic system setup.
Anyway, I have a 3mm hand socket. I've yet to find a deep version anywhere and everywhere I've looked. I'm aware of small driver handles and hex inserts that go down to 2mm, 2.5mm. and 3mm for use with a micro driver, but I just really want a 3mm deep chrome socket version. Worst case, I can try and modify those inserts into a 1/4" bit socket, but it wouldn't be press-labeled or high quality.
After I sort out and update my socket inventory based on purchases over the past year, I'll post them here if anyone is interested in seeing it. Perhaps it will even help people who didn't know a given socket existed and they can potentially use one for personal or professional use.
Thanks tool dudes/dudettes.
