Has anyone ever stacked race-deck or equivalent?

I was wondering if you have ever heard of stacking racedeck tiles?

I need 1.5" of ramp around my scissor lift (my very low car is gone, my wood ramps are fugly). I'm gonna deck the garage floor.. I figure if I deck one layer around the lift, and do a ramp surrounding the lift with a second or even 3rd layer of tiles, plus edging, I might have me a nicer ramp than the ugly wood I have now. The tile is strong, I don't see why stacking them would matter if one does not collapse...

If I can lock them around the lift in a rectangle, using their own snaps, and maybe a couple of screws + epoxy here and there, is that doable ? I think it would look cool with a little trimming of the side clips on the outside...

Anyone tried this ?

I would be concerned they would slide on top of each other. Could you fabricate the ramp with wood and then just go over it with the single layer of RD?

That is a better and cheaper idea... Sometimes I cannot see the tree in the forest....
