Has anyone ever used this on concrete?

My concrete porch is spalling a bit after several hard winters in a row.

I was thinking about filling in the voids with quick patch and then coating the whole thing with this stuff.

Wondering if anyone has used it and any opinions would be welcomed.

That junk has terrible reviews. Olympic and Behr have similar "restore " products on the market also. All with bad reviews.

I'm not sure why all of those people had such bad luck with it. Maybe their wood was too new or they put it on too thin? I put it on my deck a couple years ago and there is not a single spot that has peeled. It looks EXACTLY like it did when I put it on. Hasn't even faded. I did put it on thick so I couldn't see the wood at all (which is what it shows in the how-to videos) but I swear by the stuff. I'd used it again in a heartbeat! I posted some pictures before/after/2 years later in a thread on this forum a while back. I plan to use it on my concrete pad below the deck soon since it's looking pretty rough and the nice coat on the deck makes the concrete look worse.

usually spalling concrete will continue to spall , even when patched (IMO) any pacth is temporary and will need to be redone every so often

Tnemec Series 217 MORTARCRETE. Applied to a concrete digester tank at a Waste Water Treatment Plant in Arizona. Mind you, the applicators were carpenters not masons. Still, a fantastic product. They were not concerned with how it looked, as long as they could fix the failing concrete. This product also dries to the color of concrete so your patching is less noticeable. Most high solids epoxies can go over this as well.
