built something like this,Garage plans?

I'm looking at it thinking that if I could come up with a way to get a bank to write a loan on it that would be a great place to build and live for a few years anyway. I'm in my mid-20's, no significant other and no short term plans for marriage, however I know that can change. But I like the size of the place, gives room to park up to really 7 cars in the long term, using the RV garage area as car storage with lifts you could fit 4, and then using the double area as a workshop with the single car space as the DD parking lot. Of course I have not a clue what something like this would cost, but really I would only hire out the framing, roof, cement, and upstairs apartment so that I could move in and run the airlines and electrical where I desired before dry walling the lower level.

Really just wanted to get some opinions on an idea like this before I moved forward, not that I can do anything till I get out of grad school in 7 months. I figure find some land that I can put this on with space for a house in the future. If I get married then I've already got the shop, haha.

I'd love to have something like that even though I'm married. . . . . the wife really wouldn't see me. :lol_hitti

One thing I do notice is the double area is rather small at 23' x 20'.

Nothing wrong with planning for the future.

Go to some banks, mortgage brokers, etc. and ask. The worst they can say is "NO" (well, they can say "hell no" or words to that effect, but you get the idea.)
