Has anyone here used a Moisture Minder on your air compressor?

Nope, but looks like a good idea... sort of OT, but how often should a compressor tank be drained if it's used very infrequently to fill up tires etc?

Yes, I've gone one set up to go off every 45 minutes while the tank is operating, which is about 12-16 hours per day.

I've also had great luck with the automatic system, we run one on an 80 gallon compressor that is run 8-10 hours a day in the spring (my busy season) and irregularly after that. If you're running a 220 compressor you can wire in to half your 220 switch so you turn it on when you turn on the compressor.

But would that reset the countdown on the switch everytime the compressor starts ? My switch is set to purge at 45 minutes I believe, so unless it runs for 45 mins straight, it's not going to purge.

I have one that I bought at Duncan Equipment here in OKC. have not hooked it up since i'm waiting to move my compressor. We have them on the compressors at the fire station . Work great.
