Has anyone painted gladiator cabinets?

Has anyone painted the doors of the gladiator cabinets? Is this possible? I think they would look pretty bad *** with a gun metal finish. If you've done it, can you take pictures? If no one has done this, can it be done?

Considering their cost...I'd guess it's not done that often. But thats me guessing.
good luck. I'd stay away from the rattle can though.

I'm interested in this also. I'm thinking about painting mine read. the silver on mine, where I pout my thumb on one door to open the other, is getting to look bad. Silver tends to start to darken up in that area. I think red with the hammertone finish would look pretty good.

Maybe all you need to do is tape off the area where your fingers come in contact with door, and spray it a contrasting color? That way, you only need to touch up the "contact area" once in a while. Just a thought.
