A little pricey.

For saws a bigger table is better. Even though it is very portable, I think the table is very undersized for anything other than small hobby projects. I think the smallest table I would want to deal with in a portable would be something along the line of the DeWalt jobsite saw.

If the quality is decent $500 doesn't seem so bad. It's definitely not something I'd want for professional use or even regular use, but a guy with a small garage who does a tiny bit of wood work here and there, it'd be a great option! Seems really well thought-out.

Not that it matters, but did any one notice at the end of the video the carrying straps just "jumped" into his hands ?

Pretty neat kit in my opinion.

Looks pretty cool. The way all the different parts clip into different spots would make me think it wouldn't be good for heavy use. Those plastic clips wouldn't last too long if you constantly swapped different components.

In your basement...seriously, go look now!
Almost thought this was a Festool product due to the green color, the universatility of the system (yes, I coined a new word!) and the clear wood-working bent but then I saw the price and realized it was way too inexpensive to be Festool - $500 is where most of their base tools start (not that they're not worth it but definitely not meant for the casual consumer).

Yes, that whole last sequence is probably just played in reverse....probably because once you take all those tools out of that bag, you're never going to get them back in just right to be able to zip it up.

It's a 21st century Shopsmith. Pretty cool but how long do you think it took the video guy to learn how all that stuff went together?

That's pretty impressive engineering that went into that.
