Has anyone used PolyTuff PE (Profile Etch)

I have just used it ‘after’ hand grinding (7” cup grinder).

Frankly it opened up the surface consistently over the while floor in 15 minutes with a light scrubbing by hand. Judging by the runoff after pressure washing (I had to do this twice to get a clean surface without very fine powder), it removed as much material as 2 days of grinding.

Wondered if I have been missing out and am now thinking of additional coatings for concrete patio dependent on how successful the garage turns out.

Anyone have any experience with this product. thanks.

No personal experience with it, sounds interesting. Were you able to try it on an area before grinding? That would be the real test of its effectiveness....

To be honest I have been trying it on anything that I could think of, I tried it on 50 year old concrete next to driveway.

same effect, left for 10 mins, scrubbed once went from feeling like 500 grit to 80 grit.

What was funny is when I inspected the surface after I had pressure washed and you could see every color of every pice of aggregate. I must have dissolved all the cement coating the surfaces.

That's good to know! Its dissolving the thin "cream coat" which is precisely what you are after.
