How are you going to rotate it with a gas line and an exhaust vent hanging on it?Looks like it. No measuring, cutting, etc. once it's mounted you can just rotate it to where you need it to be. Dunno.
How are you going to rotate it with a gas line and an exhaust vent hanging on it?
$100?
Noway......I just direct mounted mine with lag bolts right into the ceiling joists, using the brackets that came with the heater
bigz- are you rotating the heater 180 degree's? if so...I would suggest not leaving the gas valve upside down...dont care what other's may tell you.....Why would I? Rotating it happens before it's connected to gas line and venting. Once you have that done you lock it down and it doesn't move. It rotates as a convenience when mounting so you don't have to get the mounting brackets perfect. Paying for convenience for sure, but I value my time at $100+ an hour so if I can save an hour by buying this, it's a good value to me.

Yes, as easy as it looks. I mounted mine in a back corner of my shop at a 45 degree angle to spread the heat throughout the area more evenly. I also use 3 ceiling fans to keep the heat from stratifying near the roof.
As mentioned above, once you rotate your heater to the desired output direction, you can easily lock the unit into it's fixed permanent position. The unit is yery well built and engineered.
Good eyeball, the product page specifically says:Looks like there is only one fastener for the two sq tube sections. Wouldn't use it for a heater that would weight more than 150lbs due to vibrations from the unit.
200LB MAXIMUM: Crafted from heavy-duty 14-gauge steel, this flush mount hanger offers unparalleled durability and structural integrity, effortlessly supporting weights of up to 200 lbs
I used to sell them. It was tough to get a contractor to buy one, over $20 of strut, but most contractors, once they tried one they never went back to strut. We sold a ton of them.Found online. Yes, it's not cheap, but super easy or so it appears.
