It seems very excessive. Has anyone used one? Does it clean cut, or just shear?

I am just curious, I am not considering buying one. It just seems crazy to cut that thick of steel.

They are great for cutting up scrap or other large pieces.

My local scrap yard has one. They actually let me try it out after a lot of persuasion

It will cut through darn near about anything. I think the only step up would be an oxygen lance

What the heck in that setup is worth $3,100 ???? Holy Toledo.

That's a high price for "convenience" of using gasoline . . . . but very innovative none the less. Take a lot of cutting with the Petrogas versus oxy-acetlyene to make up purchase price difference if fuel difference is just $10 of gasolne vs $85 of acetlyene!!

I don't get it . . . . is portability worth that much of a premium price??

For fixed locations where you've got electricity, a plasma cutter would be much better solution . . . right??

You can cut with propane more inexpensively.

Plasma arc will not cut thick sections.
