Has anyone with VCT not waxed it? I've had mine in about 6 months and haven't waxed it yet, and am wondering if I need to.

Dont use wax, use floor finish. Floor Finish is the modern wax. I know becuase this is what I do for a living. As in sell it. A few questions:

1. All tiles come from the factory with a factor protective coat really designed to prevent sticking and scratching in the box. As a secondary job, they add gloss.

2. Was the facotry finish removed? I needs to be stripped off before you apply floor finish.

3. Do you own any floor care equipment? Slow speed for stripping and can be used for buffing. Hi Speed, is better for hardening the finish for better durability.

Let me know if I can help.

You still around and on the board? Haven't done this yet, and was wondering how to myself or if I should hire someone.
