HF has stepped into the space that Craftsman vacated. Not rock bottom pricing, but decent tools for the price, especially if you can use one of their coupons.

I recently bought my first set of 3/8" impact sockets (just because ..., I'm sure my old Craftsman would handle the torque). I bought Sunex because their set had a wider range of both SAE and metric. We will know HF is really serious when they start carrying individual sockets and wrenches or at least some large size add-on sets.

After collecting tools for 50 years, I am not looking to buy any more. Well ... if HF comes out with a nice set of long pattern double box ends, I will be tempted !

Those torque wrenches look interesting, probably wont be long before someone gets one and does a bit of testing for accuracy etc..

Tool teardowns just did! Just like the power tools though the price on the Icon torque wrench is within striking distance of a PI split beam by literally a few dollars and only about $30 less than the Caryle electronic on sale.
