Hi everyone, new here. Found this place while looking for ideas for renovating my garage. I saw Jack Olsen's 12-Gauge Garage which has a lot of the functional and aesthetic design elements I am aiming for. I especially like the efficient and thought-out use of space.
Problem is, I have fairly little experience, and even less design creativity. I was hoping you fine folks here at The Garage Journal might be able to help by giving me some suggestions.
I'm open to just about anything, but I want to stay within the current walls. Size is 22' long, 19.5' wide, and just under 9.5' tall.
As I envision it right now, the right side will be for the car, left side will be for a lawn tractor and motorcycle, with a set of shelves against the wall. Back will be for a workshop.
As far as the workshop goes, I plan on having an emphasis on automotive and carpentry work. I want to make it very versatile though, and able to handle at least any household related work that might come up.
That's all I can think of right now! Here's a panorama of the area to show what I am working with.
