I have a Wilton 645 tradesman 5 inch vise, it has a broken base that was welded. Anyway, I had an old yost that is beat pretty bad. The base on the yost fit on the Wilton with a I little bit of fabrication. The yost base is much more stout. The yost had other parts that were better than the Wilton's. anyway, the end result is a better Wilton vise, after paint it looks very nice. My question is what do you guys think I could sell it for? It's parts are mixed but of higher quality. I would appreciate you guys opinion on this.

the answer is always the same., The value is determined by how much the buyer us willing to pay and how little the seller is willing to take. Every transaction has a different dollar value

When I am unsure of what something is worth and want to sell it, I put it on eBay. 99 cent starting price and no reserve. Wait seven days and there is your answer.

Be sure that day 7 is on a SUNDAY...Any listing for that matter should end on SUNDAY for maximum profit...

, paid 40$ for it the wilton 645 i think I paid too much. Some old timer gave me the beat down yost. It is at least 60 years old. It was in his gas station back in the sixties. The Wilton is from the early 70's. I built a solid vise out of the two. Think I am gonna keep it. Appreciate the input.
