Here in Michigan before HF we had "Crazy Benzies".It was like the traveling Harbor Freight show, before there was a Harbor Freight.lol
Keep driving by his house taking pics of his truck and he’ll probably get a restraining order![]()
So you stand in the street in your underwear taking pictures of his truck? Loli don't have to drive by, he's only a few houses down![]()
Why would you assume he's wearing underwear? So you stand in the street in your underwear taking pictures of his truck? Lol
LolWhy would you assume he's wearing underwear?
Nice! LolI’m convinced that the truck is wearing its Halloween costume early…
One of my friends was working at a high-end car dealership. They got weekly visits from the Cornwall truck. We had one in West Palm Beach Florida back in the late 80’s early 90’s.
He not only had Cornwall tools, but he also sold that Chinese **** you would see at tent sales in random parking lots.

I’ve seen some decent Cornwall stuff, but our truck also sold china ****.One of my friends was working at a high-end car dealership. They got weekly visits from the Cornwall truck.
He got in trouble with the dealership owner for telling the mechanics not to waste their money and referring to it as the "******** Truck" and "Harbor Freight on Wheels". Cornwall guy was the owner's nephew.
Times have changed.back in the 80's we used to get Harbor Freight and Salvage catalogs in the mail at the business. used them for packing material when shipping out parts. theres a store near me, have yet to go in it.
Well they’ve stepped up their prices anyway.lolTimes have changed.
With the demise of Sears it appears HF stepped up their game with better quality stuff for the diy types.
you may be right. since the store is on my way to my local Hyundai dealer, i just might have to give it a look see. the local WallyWorld has some decent quality DIY tools too, Hart and even some of its private brand, Hypertough seems to be good and not all is imported. i picked up a Hypertough tool chest and roller cab just before Hart came into the stores and turns out it was made by Waterloo/Cornwell. nowhere near what Snappy sells quality wise but for hanging out in the house, its serves the purpose well for cheap. as far as Sears goes, i have had Craftsman over the years and still have the 41 piece SAE tap and die set and a couple socket sets. damn fine tools but i just had this "thing" about buying my tools in the same place where my girl friends were buying their bras.Times have changed.
