I get home last night and the garage light is off, i go back to get my dogs bowl and the light is on and then 30 mins later it is off again. On a couple of occasions I've went in there and the radio will be on, I figured my husband left it on. Until last night and he said the same thing has happened to him before. Now the first radio that was in there no longer works. He says it could be haunted. Please help

Call an electrician. Your husband doesn't seem too concerned.

Two totally different things turn themselves on and off? I'm with the haunted sstory on that.

If there is something in common, say they are both on the same switched circuit, then I'd lay money that the swtich is perhaps bad.

LOL. I just went through this yesterday at our old house. Light works, doesn't, does. Damn chinese lamp, eh. Plugged in my outlet tester, says HOT/GND reversed. No f'n way. After some tinkering, I figure out a lamp timer on the circuit is causing the H/G reverse and that the real problem is a missing neutral. After a hour digging around in the attic, I finally found a nutted connection with the loose neutral wire. Worked fine for years, but not yesterday.

Go buy one of the little yellow outlet testers and start testing the ghostly outlets.
