a lot of times you have to heat the O2 sensor bung to remove as it has nothing to do with the socket as I always try it and if it doesn't come loose then heat it and it does.

Spread my 1-3/8" crowsfoot and flat-out admitted abuse in the email. New one couriered to my house by end of week.

Torque wrench failed they replaced immediately.
Bent alignment punch, same result.
They have one of the best warranty and support policy I’ve seen.

Thanks for all the feedback. I ordered a set of 25-32mm combo wrenches, a 15/16" angle wrench, a set of std/ metric shallow 1/2" impact sockets, and a chrome shallow and deep 1/4" drive set all on black Friday with the 20% rewards. We'll see how they hold up, none of the tools are stuff I've needed often though I've borrowed/ needed them enough at work to buy them.

Their angle wrenches look like they will be brutal on the hands though I'm hoping that's not the case. I have a set of Williams made in USA angle wrenches the fit and finish on is super rough I'd like to replace.

Their 3/8" torque wrench failed me twice: once the ratcheting mechanism started binding, and then the replacement failed to click on higher torques...scary during a cylinder head bolt job. OTOH the 1/4" and 1/2" have withstood years of professional use. Also broken several of the older all black low-profile star bits, and I have a set of 3/8" long hex's that the pins holding the hex shank regularly fail. Both of these items are no longer carried or updated by Tekton...a good sign...and the new replacements are higher quality than what I originally owned. Their pliers, ratchets, and 1/4" + 3/8" + 1/2" chrome master sets have all held up to serious professional abuse, as well as 3/8" shallow impact sockets.

My only gripe with Tekton was I bought 2 each of the full inch and MM of the angle wrench sets. A couple of the wrenches the engraving is terrible, barely legible. I emailed customer service and never heard back.

Broke their 18" 3/8 drive ratchet the first time I used it. I was using it to break free a spark plug torqued to 420 in-lbs so it should have been well within the capabilities of the ratchet. I think it must have been a mfg defect in the gear or the pawl because it spun so easily. They sent me a rebuild kit and I have not had any issues since, but I am a little leery of their ratchets now.

Which kind of spark plug needs so much torque?

Aviation spark plugs. Specifically on a Lycoming engine.

Well, 420 inch lbs is only 35 foot lbs, so not all that high for a spark plug and certainly not something that one would think would break a ratchet, albeit breaking anything free is almost always an unknown torque value much higher than the install spec.

Only Tekton tools I've broken were several of a now discontinued snap ring pliers set that were really tiny and cheap from the git go. The tips snapped off pretty easily after very few uses. I didn't ever try to warranty them though. They cost $15.99 back in 2015 and was a case of you get what you pay for IMHO.

FWIW I do still have one left of the set that isn't broken. Not sure that I've ever tried to use it though as I bought an 8 piece Knipex set from Amazon.de and a pair of 'convertible' Snap-on off ebay that relegated the Tekton to a junk/duplicate tool drawer.
