:thumbup:Shayne and I completed a barter deal recently, and it was a superb transaction. His communication, shipping speed, packaging, item description, and patience were all astounding. His willingness to settle up any way possible if I weren't satisfied was refreshing. Of course, I was completely satified, and I will not hesitate to do business with him in the future.:thumbup:

Traded recently, and shipping was very fast. Wish I would have known the condition of some items a little better before the trade, but that was my fault, so I can't knock Shayne.

Bought a pair of camloc pliers from Shayne. Great guy to deal with and received my pliers quick. I will definitely be dealing with him in the future.

In a word: Yes -- and I can't wait for the next time!

Just yesterday, I bought a numbered Snap-on racing clock from him for a friend of mine out of town; it features our Louisiana NHRA star, Angelle Sampey Drago.

Shayne is a hard worker and as honest a man as they come!

Bought a partial set of wrench's at a garage sale and Shayne offered up a gap filler too me. He paid it forward to me and I will send something back to him that would fill the gaps in his set. Quite a surprise to get them in the mail. Thank You Shayne. When You need something don't hesitate to ask if I may have it.

I recently purchased a 1965-ish Craftsman 150 drill press locally. It even came with a Craftsman drill press vise of the same vintage. Only thing was, the drill press was missing the feed stop nut. That part is next to impossible to find. Shayne was liking the vise, so we struck a deal on a trade, my mid '60's Craftsman drill press vise in return for a feed stop nut and jam nut that Shayne would make. The pieces he made work great, and the transaction couldn't have been any smoother. Shayne is a hell of a good guy in my book! Thanks again, Shayne!!

Well this is how my dealing with Shayne went down.

I told him I had some seat covers that I wanted made. He asked me to take a picture of them. I did and he got back to me with an estimate of what he thought he could make them for. Arrangements were made to ship them to him. I used Fastenal as it was the least expensive for me. When the covers got to Baton Rouge, Shayne drove to the Fastenal store and picked them up. (Maybe 10 miles from his house?) He let me know that they had arrived. I told him that there was no rush, if I had them back by sometime in July I'd be happy. He texted me pictures of the material he'd found and I got back to him with my approval. He and I talked several times on the phone while he was making the covers. On top of him having the covers done way ahead of the time I asked him to, the quality of workmanship is phenomenal. His estimate was very close to what he told me and I my opinion, it was one of the best deals I've ever had. So I would highly recommend Shayne to anyone that wants to deal with him. He is very honest and a man of his word. Not anything but kudos coming from me. AAA rating in my book.

Nov, 2013 some hard to find items I'd been searching for showed up on ebay but the seller didn't ship to Canada. I put out a call on GJ for some help. nine4gmc was there for me although there were some issues with the messaging system and he and 2 other responders weren't getting my messages. The deal ended with no sale and 3 months later zkling helped me get and ship them to Canada after they were relisted. Inspite of the communication problems I learned enough from nine4gmc through the communications that did go through to know he's one of those guys with the "no man gets left behind" attitude who'll stick his neck out for someone without worrying about what's in it for him first.

That was 4 years ago Shayne but I haven't forgotten your goodwill, thanks, your friend in Canada.
