Haven't seen them in the store yet but I like it! Dewalt has a similar box coming out soon (or may already be out) with a stainless top, and the pegboard drops down in the back if not needed.

Today I was at the local homedepot and came across this box. Not big on the peg board but was impressed by the feel and build for a box of this price, made the Milwaukee next to it feel super cheap. Anyone own one? Was considering the build a bench out of harbor freight boxes but this one might be the choice.

I saw this a couple of months ago and found it for $100 cheaper at my local home Depot. Not sure why they had a lower price, but I didn't ask questions. Loaded it into the minivan before they changed their minds. Needed a friend to unload it because it is heavy!

I considered the red Milwaukee version, but I like the deeper drawers on the husky.

It fit perfectly in the spot I had left for a work bench. I've already mounted a vice and power strips along the front and back. I found the built-in power strip not very useful, but that could be just my install.

Drawers are nice with auto close. Peg board is thin but solidly anchored.

I wonder if the textured finish would make it harder to keep clean. Although I guess flat black paint would hide grease and dirt.

I bought this box for $598 at the store...its $698 online...

also, if you look online, they have a new similar box, that is 3/4" longer. the part # is 1 digit different...HOT 6010 vs HOT 6110...
it doesn't say whether the pegboard slides up/down on the newer version...

I am going to mount an LED strip light under the shelf...good idea...

I don't have that particular box, but I have 3 Husky boxes that I love, some of the drawers are loaded pretty heavy with no problems. I have my eye on a 4th one, just waiting for a sale.
