I talked to them' about $400 per light. It would take many years to recoup the cost based on electricity savings.

Its disappointing they have no specs, on wattage, amp draw, etc. A typical high bay is 400W as I recall, so probably less. Would be interesting to see how they compare with a T5HO setup.

Its more of a commercial thing to replace existing hi-bays, etc, there's usually a pretty good business case there.

If they're anything like their fans, you're overpaying for the name/novelty. Good products, but there are plenty of alternatives. I'd put their branding right alongside Yeti.

gas monkey garage uses big *** fans and big *** lights because, well, they're big asses...

I'd say that's an accurate comparison.

My former company purchased about 100 of these lights. Installed in very difficult to reach spots in a chemical plant. The need to replamp traditional fixtures in the processing areas and shops was a big expense, and hazardous.

The lights are very robust and bright. Not targeted to a home shop or garage.

Unfortunately the plant was shutdown and is being demolished. Hopefully the guys will grab the lights before the wrecking ball hits!

I have been in a few places where their fans are installed. They made those locations very comfortable.

I would like to become more familiar with their lighting products.
