Hi! I really don't know much about tools. I like to create new things out of broken vintage items. On a recent walk I spotted this gem someone was throwing out. My plan was to turn it into a raised planter, or ice chest table or garden pond. I don't like to take things apart without knowing their back story, or how old the item is. Trying to research this item has led me down quite the rabbit hole. I cannot find anything about the company or the table, other than the obituary for the man who started the company back in the 1930s. The company operated until the 2000s. The only marking is the nameplate. No serial numbers or part label. The company is out of Danville, Ca. I would love to know the approximate age or what it looked like when it was new. Thank you in advance to anyone that can solve this mystery!

Funny, I have lived or worked in most of those places, but have never heard of Haven. Anyway, that is a Delta tool stand for a tablesaw jointer combo. '50s or early '60s, it would look like this http://www.old-woodworking-tools.net/delta-saw-jointer-combo.html
My grandpa and uncle were both contractors in the Bay area, and I don't remember ever seeing this brand anywhere. That's what has me intrigued now. When I did the Google image search ,the Delta tool stand is what came up. I wasn't sure if it is an actual Delta that this guy slapped his label on, or if he made a knockoff table. Do you know if the Delta would have any other identifiers on it? Numbers or anything? Thanks for your quick response, and the link!

Haven was just a tool seller... was common back when to put a tag on tools that were sold.

Google books is your friend for things like this, as are quotes around the name you are searching. This link shows them as distributors for DeWalt, and probably others.
