I just saw this the other day looks like it would work out great in tight spots for repairs and not roll around like my streamlight led does all the time and the magnetic base with pivotal will be great aswell

Has anyone used this style I have seen the snap on one and this one in this style but I have not heard much about them

For $169? Oh, hell no.

Not something I could justify, but a friend of mine has a $300+ surefire setup, charger and all. It is freaking awesome. He tried to convince me it was a economical purchase as the money he will save on batteries will win out in a few years. :headscrat

I appreciate good lights, and I'm a Surefire fan - but that Hazet's a Taiwanese plastic light with a magnet stuck up its ****. I'd have to think hard about that at $29.

I think your friend had a brain fade - that is what any one of us would, of course, tell our better halves/wives/financial advisors...there is a standard tool expenditure response sheet somewhere on GJ, I am certain..

It doesn't need to be said, but , all you need to tell another guy is "man I don't care what it cost this is freakin' awesome !"

Well, obviously Hazet doesn't mill that one from solid steel but it is made for them by some non German manufacturer (not neccessarily in China). 169$ is list price plus shipping, so even in Germany it's not cheap. If anyone is interested I would be willing to take away the Ebay fees. Actually they sell pretty well and I didn't get negative feedback.
