I picked up this Hazet wrench at an estate sale today. 25% off day. Spent $1.50 on it. Trying to find out some info and there really isn't much to be found specifically about Hazet 300 wrenches. Apparently, these German made wrenches were used on Porches and VWs but getting specific info about the tools has been a miss thus far. As you can see from the pics this is a Hazet 300 Chrom-Vanadium 6mm-7mm wrench. The slot in the bottom of the each wrench end is interesting. Anyone know if there is a purpose behind that? Not sure if the 0 (Oh) or 0 (zero) is a foundry mark or what? Hoping you guys might know something about the 300 tools or know where I might find more info. Thanks in advance!

Hello,

this Hazet 300 wrench is from the late 50s
(1954-58, before this size not exists, afterwards droped because of other wrench series).
But not for VW or Porsche.

I guess the 0 is marked later...

regards,
