Personally, I'd rather give my money to a specialized store like KC Tool than to Amazon, and I also think that KC Tool's customer service is great and they know about tools (as opposed to Amazon who are pretty much clueless about what they are actually selling). I also love the fact that KC Tool always indicates the COO, and this info seems to be quite accurate.
Having said this, KC Tool's prices are most of the time just through the roof. It is true that shipping costs add to the cost, but other than that, I don't know why their prices are almost always so incredibly high. You get the same Hazet, Stahlwille, Gedore etc. etc. products in many stores in Germany, small and large, for substantially less money.
I am showing an Amazon.de example because other stores typically do not ship to the US. My apologies if I overlooked something somewhere.
Hazet 916HPL is $140.52 after a 32% rebate at KC Tool.
Same ratchet is 72.99 Euro at Amazon.de, and they ship it to the US.

When adding it to your cart with a delivery address in the US, German VAT is automatically removed, Euros are converted into USD, and shipping is added. Total price in USD comes out to $95.57. Still expensive, but better than $140 or $120.
