I just scored an amazing deal from a gentleman on craigslist.
I just picked up a Hazet Assistent for $50. I wasn't sure if it was a real ad or not, but I decided to take the risk and take the 180mi round trip. The guy knew what they are worth, but was selling it for a friend. Thank you sir!
I feel like a kid at Christmas as I have wanted one of these for quite some time, but could never justify the cost. It didn't feel quite real until I had it home and finished cleaning it. I am one happy guy!

Wow! I'd be jumping up and down. Were you looking for one, or how did you end up coming across it on CL 90 miles away, just browsing?

Yeah. Ive checked for "tool trolley" every now and then for the last few years. I found a Japanese knock off a little closer a few weeks back, but the guy never responded. Guess it wasn't meant to be.

wow...suckage! Nice score! I would love to have a Hazet Assistent. I think they're pretty cool but I'm more into prewar american cars and american trucks and american tools. It just doesn't fit my motif. If I had unlimited funds and unlimited space I'd love to have a garage area with a classic BMW, Porsche, or even a VW bug with some hazet tools and a cart to go with it. Reality says I'll stick with what I have going and enjoy the pictures of other people's euro carts and setups.

I think I saw that one, the guy got good response and tripled his price.
